CONTEST - Pillage the Village - Creative Critic Award
Thomas B. replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
I have made previous posts that I would like you to take into consideration, Mister Phes. I will join this contest now! -
Good point Zorro. I think Mr. Hinckley is awesome, as well as Bonaparte, Mr. Tiber, Sinner, Mister Phes, Captain Green Hair, KimT, and any other Mod or Admin I didn't mention! You are all awesome!
-
Yes! I posted first after the picture! Does that mean I get a complementary one for caring about your creation? I really like that hat. Do you have any other molds?
-
Holy ! That thing is freaking crazy! That thing is awesome!

BrickArms Pirate Accessory Prototypes
Thomas B. replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Pirate MOCs
Perhaps you might have a free Rapier for me? -
Good...be a vicious devil! Can't wait to see the rest of the MOC!
-
Trust me... you're not the gore master... Just wait for me! Muhahaha! As said before, put it on a 32x32. Junglization is needed, as well as a screaming face . You young chap, you have much to learn. A much larger tower is of upmost importance. Zorro always beats me to it, but I completely agree with him and would say what he said.
-
Well, thanks Guss... And good job about thinking of blood!
-
Art thou serious? The MOC needs blood! Missing arms, legs... Something! At least you should put the rat in a pot on an open fire! And the put the rat's blood in the pot. I agree with Zorro, re-read the rules!
-
Wow... Very great improvements, but still not enough goriness. EDIT: I just realized the executioner is Hinkley's sig-fig! How dare you insult Hinkley!

The rock is very cool, and you are very creative. However, I think the rock doesn't go with the village. The huts have a very great look, with the wooden slats and all. The MOC needs more detail, IMO. But, overall, the MOC is very cool! MOC on! (Please note: I'm sorry if I seem like I'm a snot-nosed brat, because I am new to the site and I like to give my opinion on all MOCs.)
-
I agree that the bigger cannon is out of place. A small cannon would be a suitable item, but only with a fortification up there. This MOC is way too peaceful, IMHO. You need more figs, as I'm sure you know. Overall though, a very great item. MOC on!

The palm trees need more branches and leaves. The water is lacking, because it needs light blue plates. I know you said you didn't have any, but that would enhance the MOC. The tied up woman and the waves are very cool. The guy that is being buried is too close to the water, unless you meant for it to be that way. Did you mean for the guy to drown at high tide or to be buried alive? Overall though good job.

I'm not really sure what to say. The chained box is very well executed, but the person inside should be a regular skeleton, as clothing decomposes at about the same rate as humans do, in open air, of course. the crow is cute, but something is missing about him. The grey pole shoud be old brown, or some type of brown, as grey throws the whole thing off. The noose is quite realistic in this MOC, but it is lacking the gore I expected. My MOC must really be gorier than everyone else's.

Well, obviously this contest is based in the 1600s, and they didn't have TV, so this MOC didn't make much sense to me. There needs to be blood and gore, what a typical privateer does. As others have said before, the sand green doesn't seem to mix with everything else, even though I think you were trying to make barnacles. Otherwise, the boat is very well executed.

I believe I can find one of those fandangled 1x2 hinge plates... for a price, of course. I don't know... How about that german Colonel?
-
Wow. You're doing better than me. But, however, my MOC has much more blood! I thought I was being nice! I might win this contest due to the goriness! That's what the contest is about! :pir-skull:
-
I completely agree. Hinkley is an AFOL, and he said that? That is wrong, and he must not love Legos like we do! Don't take it personally Hinkley.

The biggest Prize Pool in AFOL fansite history?
Thomas B. replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
Hello. I don't have any pirates, because I was too young to collect them. So, can my minifigs be Adventurers? Or what type can they be other than Pirates? I'm going to enter the contest because I need pirates . Help me Mister Phes! -
Please enter me into the raffle. Thanks again Copmike!
