OoH1 Does it involve not ending so damn quick? Like perhaps one may choose to either take a life point when they hit the opponent or recover one. As much as I like the life-counters, five is an awfully small number of HP. Tuma, though... that's fun. TWO life counters=fairly decent game. Especially if my made up rule is applied. I'm very much liking the design of these guys. Very solid, very innovative. Good colors, new parts where they belong, and more focus on weapons!!!!! I can't wait for clearer pics of the summer sets!!!

Same here. They're a tad slippery. Oh, well, they shoot fairly decent, and they look cool. That's all I need in a launcher! And here's to no more shooters in the Bionicle universe. Just launchers. And those canister images look final. I think there really would be no reason to switch launchers in the summer, since Bara Magna has little in the way of tech and besides, it would only cost more to make another launcher part. In place, however, we're getting even MORE new parts! This is a great year for Bionicle.

The thornax is a pretty fair piece for a launcher. AND it can be taken apart and used as other things since it's shape is not primarily "launchy". Personally, I store both halves of my launchers on the backs of my Glatorian's arms usin the #2 plus rods that come with. Easy as that! no extra parts required! Now the thornax... Those are hard to store on the figure-if even possible!

since everyone else is doing it: Stronius: Definitely awesome! That club will be welcome to the collection. The body is REALLY hard to make out, though. He looks very troll-like. Ackar: Lesse... red mahritoran blades, red/orange inika armour, orange thigh armour, and possibly a new leg piece. Can you say pretty much awesome? And is that mata red??? Vastus: Can't tell what is what, but that mask looks sick and the blade looks worthy. That's all I need! Kiina: Twin trident, huh? Pretty cool-probably the coolest water set since original Gali. I might actually get this one! Gelu: It looks as though he's wearing a white/trans-blue Malum mask.... AWESOME! He has a plethora of new parts and really nice recolours. His sword looks like a trans-blue britaka blade on oe side, and another new part on the other. Mata Nui: Whoa.... They really did good with this guy. He looks nothing like the crap we've been getting the past few years. I am thoroughly impressed. If the rumor of a titan version is true, I will probably get both.

I'm looking forward to the big sets, and yes, Candox has a GREAT name. It might be a land-based battle vehicle with more than one figure included, maybe? Or it could be the name of a titan. I can't wait for the titan version of MN.

HAHA! The leaked pics made it onto Brickshlef in the Bionicle folder. One of the first things in there. This is surprising, as usually, these pics can't be readily found unless someone typed in the specific folder or file name.

I'm eager to see the new piece on Ackar and MN near the base of the leg around the ankle. Makes it look more... armor-y. Mata Nui has red eyes. Vastus has a really spiny mask-and I really like it. If these are the canisters, then I REALLY can't wait for our first gander at the titan sets!!!

I replaced the body too. I had one white Inika torso from Kopaka Phantoka(whole reason I got him was for his parts). He looks smashing with it. WAY more icy, actually because the color scheme is solid throughout and kinda fits together solidly so that he looks more... well, more. Skrall's life counter really doesn't work on his back. Personally, though, I prefer the foot because it gives it a feel that although it fits, it not really ESSENTIAL. Like the launchers. They fit, but you would hardly notice their absence. Hope this helped :)

yeah... that was more than a bit too much. That image is gonna haunt me for the rest of today... or less, since my attention span is about... Look! a butterfly! What was I on about, again? Oh, well... I just got Strakk, Vorox, and Skrall. MUCH better in person. tiny masks that can't fit on av-toran heads, but even if they did, it wouldn't look so great. Skrall is a whole lot more substantial in person-the pics make hm WAAAAAAY too skinny. I was surprised at the fact that the red part in the swords is solid plastic and not rubber. Strakk, though, has ubber-to-plastic on his shoulder armour-but not on the mask or axe. The mask has a very nice texture, actually. The blending of colors is very fluid. I also modified Strakk to have white in place of dark blue parts and it looks REALLY REALLY good on him. Vorox and his tan is possibly the best score of them all. The brown-tan armour would make great military or rahi decal. His spindly mask could use a little work on the eyes, but that's about it. The one-color feet are pure WIN. I need to head back to TRU after I get my X-Mas money and pick up some more Glatorian-prolly another Skrall(since I gave mine to my brother as a present as well as Vorox) and Gresh. Or maybe(if I have the cash) Vorox and Tarduk. SIDE NOTE: I've already started on a design for the sand strider contest, I suggest you all do the same while there's still time. The competition for that one will be tough, no doubt. BZPers are gonna be ALL over that.

In the 2009 sightings topic, we have a member that bought Tarduk, Berix, and Zesk and another member who bought skrall. EDIT: Now we have more and more mebers finding and purchasing Glatorian! Although we have no proof, yet, it seems at least LIKELY that they are indeed showing up en masse. Also(and I have requested a review) another member went and bought ALL SIX Glatorian!

Malum is officially kick-megablocks! I love the trans-yellow on his mask! And the new heads rock!

Some fellow says he has Malum on BZP. He says the Biocode is funny, but makes sense. I'm waiting for proof, but this could potentially be good news. UPDATE: BiA7 is up! And we see Spherus Magna for the very first time!!!

Yes. A darn cool name. Fero and Skirmix are a set I'll pass up, though. Zesk is still my favourite creature. Tuma is a might-have. Only if I can spare the money. Overall, the year is great, but It could not have come at a worse financial time...
