General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Legoman123 replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I could see that been the case, I mean it's pretty much a month until it'll be released to the VIPS so it makes sense really. -
Do we think we're going to get the Finalizer?

Not a bad theory, but I just don't see that been the case. It would be a nice twist though.? I do hope there's more minifigures than that, for a set that big I would really like at least 12. -
2017 is a good year to get Sith. First of all we get Darth Maul in the winter and now Vader and Sidious in the summer! All we need is an updated Doouku and we'll have new versions of every Sith from the movies. I really don't get everyone's problem with the QuadJumper? I agree it wasn't in the movie for long but it's still a nice set to get. Of course it would of been nice to get the anabolic Royal Starship as that kind of was the main ship in TPM.

Part of me does think that it could possibly be Will's Flying Dutchman. After all it is a set that a lot of POTC fans wanted and I should imagine it's in the new movie as well. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

We should get photos from Nuremberg, I believe we did last year for both Marvel and DC. -
The Jungle Research Location looks average to me, just a cluster of vechcies thrown into one set. I would of preferred more of a HQ set for £109. Hopefully the mobile lab will be more of a base set.

I really do hope it has at least two decks, like the imperial flagship otherwise it will be a huge disappointment. -

Looking at the box on a bigger image I think there'll be 8/9 minifigures. -

The blurred out picture is real as that's from Legos website, I think the post referring to the amount of minifigures/which minifigures is fake. -

The Black Pearl is deffintly out as it's just to distinctive to miss. The Dying Gull is just too small of a ship to warrant a price of $250 unless it was a set with two ships, which this does not look like. I highly doubt it would be The Queen Ann's Revenge as I don't even know if that ship is in this movie. The Silent Mary is a strong possibility as it is the main ship for the villain of the movie and the last POTC wave had the flagship of the wave to be the villains ship. There is a possibility that this could in fact be Will Turners Flying Dutchman as it did somewhat change form at the end of at Worlds End. All of this is just really an educated gusss but I do think it adds up. -

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Legoman123 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think all the sets look good, and overall it seems a stronger wave than the first. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the size of the Milano. If anything I was hoping that this time around the ship would be even bigger.- 5,808 replies

Not too long to wait then. I just want to see more of the characters and the ships, it's a great teaser trailer but the movie release in May so I really think it's time we saw something. -

Anyway, has anyone got any idea when we'll see a proper trailer? I would hope it'd be some point soon considering the movie is coming out in May! -

The two smaller sets look fantastic and I can't wait to pick them up! I am however disappointed in the Milano as it looks smaller than the previous version.- 5,808 replies

What date is London Toy Fair?

Well the bounty hunter battle pack really is a must buy for me. The fact that we get four of the most iconic bounty hunters in the Star Wars universe (Imo) in such a cheap set still amazes me! Here's hopping Zuckuss turns up at some point in the near future.

There you all are, I knew a statement like that would get you all commenting?? I wasn't under the impression we were getting a pirates minifig series. Is this POTC? -

I'm a bit lost on what you mean by original? But I'm sure it is. By the way these last couple of pages have pretty much just been us talking. We're the true POTC fans. Also there was the Simpsons theme. -

It could quite possibly be the Silent Mary that we end up getting. Thinking about it, given the price of the set we could quite possibly see a ship as detailed as the Imperial Flagship (that been the silent Mary) and the Dying Gull in the set as well, as it is only a small ship. -

Never mind images, let's just get a ship name first. -

I just really hope we don't get two ships in one set. I would much rather have one ship with a more detailed build, like the Imperial Flagship, than two ships that just look like everything else we revive in the pirates line.
