Awesome Terry None. I just last night made a really great Space Case, gonna try to take a new group shot of my updated DP.

Hahahaha, maybe I'll take a pic of the pile later just to give ya a taste of the buildup I've got going on. No problem dude, I try not to imagine at all what a person's tone is when interacting online, I know sometimes the way people write it can be hard to infer the meaning so I just don't even try. I just assume everyone is being nice and awesome all the time.

They're in my pile of approx. 100 purist customs to take pics of. I don't find the picture taking process as fun as making them so i let it build up over a long period of time and take pics of a few at at time. Lego is just my third most time consuming hobby, I'll get around to it someday Yooooooo! What up man? Remember the early days of this thread? Man, its been what like 4 years almost, maybe? Crazy.

This is why yellow is superior. Representation is great but at the end of the day, its still mostly white men being made. Yellow is representative of everyone.

That Granny is perfect, awesome job. I've been trying to perfect my Mister Miracle and Barda and was thinking they'd need a granny too.

you might have. I posted a beast with that chima head a while back. I actually have a redux of it I have yet to post, that more closely resembles his costume in the Grant Morrison New X-Men series

It isn't more challenging, actually much less. If you look through all my posts, I've been able to more accurately recreate hundreds of characters. I am only limited in that domino mask faces in yellow all seem to have mustaches. Yellow gives me more variety. When I see characters that are POC and they use the same 4 black characters heads over and over, I'd rather just see them with a yellow head that better fits the character. Flesh color lego assumes that there are 4 skin tones, its just not even close to being accurate, yellow can represent anything and anyone. It is more in the spirit of lego. So main reason being more choice, secondary reason is philosophical, lego was just better before fleshtones, representation wasn't an issue, now it is.

great Wild Dog. I have been agonizing over finalizing my own version. I initially used the same helmet piece but decided against it in favor of something else. That torso idea though, very clever, I did not think of that. Also just after reading a recent DC Metal tie-in was wondering how i might be able to pull off Mr. Terrific. Using only yellow would make it real hard for me.

Yep, those are the Dino Tracker's arms
-
Here's Plas for now. Kyd Wykkyd is made, Killer Moth is in the works, Mad Mod I wont do because there exists a perfect torso for him, but I do not have it.
-
I've got a Booster all made up already, thought maybe I posted it but maybe not, Plas I did years ago at this point, I know I posted him but hes gonna be dozens of pages back, time for an updated version anyway. The rest I've yet to attempt, I'll give em a try.

I tried using it for a GA build, but the hair peeking out just does not appear as blonde, its totally gray which kind of kills it for me being on GA, is anyone else seeing it as gray? Did I get a misprint?
-
couple more Marvel customs that I forgot to post last time Classic Uncanny X-Men versions of Wolverine and Rogue. Anyone notice this new hood piece's hair appears as gray IRL but in official photos appears blonde? Classic Uncanny X-Men versions of Storm and Forge

What would you like to see? I'll make it, but I only work in yellow.

looks like the beginings of a Spider-Gwen

All New Wolverine!

using yellow, I was able to give him the arms from the female dino hunter from cmf, looks great, I also gave him catmans legs, the combo of the two really makes wolverine pop now, I'll take a pic. I like that idea alot, been needing a use for those little clear guys, currently using them for an omega red, will post more pics soon, I've got like 30 more customs to shoot.

Cable and Hope Ghost Rider Madelyne Prior Dark Beast and Armagedon Hugo Strange as Batman The Creeper New52 Swamp Thing Wotan Nite Owl Thomas Wayne Batman Red Son Superman Yellow Lantern Batman Spoiler and Bluebird Gordon and Bullock I still have soooooo many more too, need to take more pics.

Nice Mike Pence custom!

Thanks Cheese. I got like 50 more I havent had time to photograph, some really good ones I think. I got into resin casting and making my own toys a few months ago so I've been so slammed for time, but was so proud of booster I wanted to get him out there. I beleive his armor is from a Chima Scorpion guy, found it on bricklik while browsing and it looked perfect. Previously I had been using a bright orange one from Toxica, this is so much better. I'm so making this in yellow, great job, the pants perfectly emulate her boots in the show.

Booster and Skeets

There's a helmet in nexo Knights that one of the devil dudes has, black with removable horns, it would be pretty close. The head is totally perfect! Will be a tough color to match with a torso though. LOVE the yellow!
