The Alchemyst

Just went to the Chicago Lego Store today, and found some interesting items. All pictures were taken with a Cell Phone, so they kinda suck. Bionicle Stationary! [The pens] Bionicle Stationary bag! The fabric is kinda rough-ish polyster, I think, kinda thin. A Bionicle Cap, I think it's been on S@H before. A Classic Space Messenger Bag, very snazzy. The minifig can be removed by the zipper on the back Item Number and Price Tag. A Square Lego Bag-Purse-thing. It has a smooth plastic/leather feel. The Back The item number The price And lastly, Silver Stormtroopers are in Stores! [Dunno if this has been reported already...] The blur hurts, but they're $10USD each, not too shabby. Hey guys, went to the Lego Store today, and I found something interesting. Will post in BZP in a while, but EB first... Bionicle Stationary! I was going, "Waaht" when I first saw them... Never before seen '08 concept art! We've seen the Vamprah one, but the leftmost one [Jutlin?], the left-center [Krekka-Gali :O], and the right-most [Jetpack?] are new! Yea, I wouldn't buy it at $80USD either, got mine for around $44 at a Target. Great review, I think you covered many important parts, but missed the building portion. That's what amazed me, with all the nifty designing with math involved. [-The Alchemyst-]

I thought this was a good mech until I saw this picture.Now I think it's a great mech. The idea you can put add-ons like an armature was very well done. The colors are well spread, and has the feel of power miners. I hope to see more MOCs from you! [-The Alchemyst-]

At the store, I got there punctually at 5:00, and the first group of like 4-7 took two minutes, so in the end every group had 2 minutes. When I went up, a kept tying with a 11 year old or so, and we kept getting 6. xD. So in the end we both got Chrome Vaders. :3 I did try to get more magnets and even a DV minifig, but the clerk wouldn't let me. :P The Vaders are not magnets, the magnet is like a flat fridge magnet. So... Since it hasn't been seen anywhere else, there's no estimated price for it? [-The Alchemyst-]

The one at Northbridge Mall in Downtown Chicago. Were they made only for this promotion? o.o Really? That's nice then. :D I recall seeing the symbol of DV on a Blue Background like that in the pose, for some convention I think... Some VIP pass? Was it Brickfest? Something up in the Northwest US. I'm really not sure. Every Participant got one, even without winning, and there are quite a bunch of stores throughout the U.S. But I suppose most holders would be little kids or workers. I can't believe that. =/ Just because it's an exclusive doesn't mean it'll have 3 shades of one color. An unusual color scheme doesn't have to deal with having multiple types of one color on a set. Doesn't the catalog the pics are in show prototypes? [With that smiley face in the box] If they use yellow and Keet in the same set, as armor, something is terribly wrong with the designers.

Design looks funny, but I bet it's the posing, and in other poses he could look really sweet. The color off-ness is bound to be because of the fact that its a prototype, no designer would have all that armor in different shades of yellow, keet and gold. It's going to be one in the end, and I'll wait for my final decisions on buying it or not once the new pics come out. [-The Alchemyst-]

I didn't know a Pony was rare! I have one from years back, now I'm glad I got it. I do not wish to sell it, but I do have some of these promotional bricks A really bad picture taken long ago. from the discovery center in Chicago. I'll be willing to sell each one for... $25? Movie looks wonderful, I love the texture in it. Since they're making 2 more movies for the next two years, I can't wait to see this arc of the story all animated. :D Ackar just shot up on my wants since he's Mata Red. I think I'll get him first now. >_>

Stronius, Cendox, Cendox.

In the end, the Titan Mata Nui coloring will be either Keet, Mata Yellow or Gold, not a mash of them. It's a prototype and the armor pieces in color seem to be pieces already used in the color [Like Yetrax's Onua Shields] I'm begging for Gold Right now. It'd be so much better if it was old gold though. =/

Nope, Diversity, it's on YT. They were the best, and my favorite to win. :D

Ew. Still hate Vastus, so ugly. D: Mata Nui, Kiina and Ackar still look pretty neat. <3 Kiina's mask, that dual tone and shape looks so pretty. @_@ Ackar has Orange, which is always a good color to have more of. Same for Mata Nui and Keet.

Tuma definitely bulked up there Antrozek. Love it, looks great.

Eh, I thought Berix at first, but now, I'm leaning toward someone older. Why would Berix go running with the Book of Certavus to Gresh and no the Skrall if he was the traitor? This traitor is experienced in making deals, experienced with the lands of Bara Magna, and have seen the Baterra [or is completely bluffing [double double backstab!] I'm going for a Summer character, one we don't know the personality of. All I can say for sure is that it can't be Skrall. :P [-The Alchemyst-]

Oh god. It really does looks like Stronius has Mata Red. D: Variety please! Mata Nui: Still a must buy. I <3 keet, and it's Mata Nui. Stronius: Still love, but would have been better with Metru red [still hopes] Gelu: Cool Mask and weapons. Meh for everything else. I'll try getting the weapons off a trade one day. Vastus: Still don't get what the hell is going on with the face. Neat armor and scythe, everything else is normal or sucks. Ackar: Orange is yay. Fire piece is yay. Not a top-of-the-list set, but worthy of getting. Kiina: Great mask, second-best weapons, and really nice armor. And it has light blue, and recolored Inika feet. My third or second choice. And guys is it just me, or does the insert in the Cendox show that the handle bars move inward to make a really sexy bike? Order of gets: MN Cendox Stronius/Kiina Ackar Probably will only get the top two or three, I've only got 2 2009 Bionicle Sets so far.
