i don't think lego will produce such expensive sets, very few will buy them. doesn't make much business sense.

er... chrome helmet? are you sure? i thought they stopped producing chrome stuff because it wore off easily. and er... i think no one has seen a chrome clone trooper helmet? it will be so out of place among the other troopers.

where do you guys get the clones with cody's helmet?

i don't think the set prices will be affected by market fluctuations? if there's any change of set price, more likely it will be due to increased cost of production (or at least claimed increased cost of production).

if you want a 501st then i guess it would be better to get phase II clones. or if you're serious about it you could buy them custom-made with all the decals and paint jobs.

very nice artwork. actually i don't really like the holsters. i do acknowledge though that with minifigs there are limits to creating holsters.

i think the only new set revealed is the castle medieval village.

hmm.. i hope this means that the US/EURO price ratio for this sets is the same as other past sets.

hmm.. i wonder what all the naysayers will say about the star wars battle pack prices now.. i just knew they would jack it up.

where do you get extra plates? bricklink?

anyone noticed that these sets are small to medium-sized ones compared to the bigger sets in the initial release? the biggest sets for this release, like the AAT or the RAS, i don't think they should exceed US$50? doesn't look very huge nor are there many figures.

my thoughts: 1. well, i think that the price per pc ratio really went up with these sets. you can compare with the 07 sets using brickset and see the difference. 2. RGS & AT-TE should have included one more normal clone trooper, especially at their respective price points. one more so there'll be 2 clones sitting in the RGS cockpit, and one more other than the AT-TE pilot so there'll be a clone manning the big cannon on top. (can't comment on the rest as they aren't attractive enough for me to buy them!) 3.does anyone think that the RGS should have included the 2 side bubble turret cannons like in 7163?

i certainly hope so! anything more than $10 would be bummer for me! please don't break my heart TLG! erm.. i think that's not gonna be possible. haha. isn't the usual price for USD10 battle packs in aussie AUD25-30?

i was looking through this brickshelf gallery, and it seemed as if the 8014 clone walker battle pack will no longer be a US$9.99 set like other battle packs. seems as if it's going to go the way of the castle battle packs which are going for US$12.90. thought the boxart seemed to be bigger (or at least longer) than usual. i hope not though! please let it stay below US$10!!!!
