  1. Greetings! Never posted anything in Action Themes forums, so it's my debut here. ^^ Thus, I want to show you a few MOCs dedicated to Rock Raiders that I made in LDD. I've tried to re-vamp some official sets, and now I have two models. First one is Cave Crab, the little four-wheeled mining truck that looks very similar to one from 4980 a.k.a. Tunnel Transport. It has the very same functions that original model (excepts attaching to carrier copter) and a few more like handlers with drilling saw and claw and cockpit with lights. Back is bendable, like in original model: Also you can pull up the cockpit to go out and do some work with your own pickaxe that enclosed to Cave Crab. Get the LXF!
  2. Thetime is passing by, I've started to study in lyceum, and meanwhile my MOCs are slowly transform from 'just models' to 'revamps', by changing structure, colour scheme and equipment. My last revamp was Tavm, the Weaponsmith. Now the same changes happened with Lewa Nitro. I've started new model with torso - I planned to make it basing on Takanuva's - with moveable waist. Macro. When body has been completed, I've started to create the legs. macro. Then I has made arms. One of forearms' main features were folding blades. It was very hard to make shoulders similar to Takanuva's, so as the result I had something like this: And I've liked it so much that I made some improvements for Takanuva: Here's how Lewa looks from behind: Also, I made for LN a fly-pack with wings: They are made in Furno XL's style, so they are folding quite well: And a bonus - Guest Starring with Half-Dark Takanuva: That's all folks, C&C's are welcome anytime.
  3. Wow! Incredible re-make, I love it so much! However, you need to do something with forearm plates. They are a bit bigger then it needs IMO.
  4. Hm, tribal masks... Need to do some more! Good Hero Leader, I like the colour scheme and overall structure. Especially, Withc Doctor's skulls as a shoulderpads. =3
  5. At last, a comment! Thank you very much, KielDaMan! =)
  6. Hello EB users! I've returned from vacation, and brought you one good new LDD MOC. Though this model is named Wanzer, it's unfortunately has no any relations to famous Front Mission franchize, but I WANED to make a Mech in FM-style. However, MOC has came more individual and creative, plus my Girlfriend has made a color scheme for it. So, the Wanzer is an universal Mech frame that could be equipped with lots of weapons, armor and gears. It is good for any situation, and that's why it came so popular. Blank Wanzer Feet Arm How does cockpit opens Now, about the loadouts... Wanzer Gunner This Mech is carrying Gauss Rifle that could shoow with uranium projectiles or long steel needles. Wanzer Slinger It's armed with two SMGs that brings havoc in the enemy lines. Heavy Duty Heavy Duty Wanzer with special armor plates. Armed with two missile launchers and two gattling machineguns. Perfect for laying havoc on battlefield. Seraph Special battlepack for Wanzer with wings, flying engine, big force-field shield and energy broadsword. C&C's really appreciated! Model and loadouts made by me. © Color cheme is made by Little Victory. ©
  7. When I am making a Mecha, I am starting with legs and/or torso. In case of Microfig Mechs I have a torso doodle template to insert. =) When I am working with starship, I am beginning with nose and ending with engines, gear and weaponry. When I need to build vehicle, I am always thinking over the chassis.
  8. First of all, relax and just aviond in future to multiply topics with questions about one specific subject. Now, about Sci-Fi color schemes. As LDD still remains my as primary instrument for making my MOCs because of the lack of money, I am doing with colors whatever I want. I will show some samples of my works to display my colouring principles. First of all, Starships and such. I am trying to use one pirmary solid color, mostly black or dark grey, then secondary solid like gray or light-gray, to single out some details on the ship's corpuse. Four other colors is a one or wo decorative colors which represents faction's primary color and two transparent for engines, illuminators and energy weapons. Example: Aegis Special Colonial Fleet, Frigate-class ship, name: "Aegis Prime". It is black with dark-grey insertions, plus red and dark-red, which distinctive for Aegis ships' color scheme. Transparent blues are illuminators and engine lights, and trans-greens are the plasma turrets' barrels. Then, Troops: It's all moe simple for minifigs. They have two primary colors, secondary decorative, secondary metallized (for elite ones or for special cases) and transparent if needed. Example: Aegis Fleet's Marines: Black as primary, blue and dark-blue as secondary decoratives, trans-orange for Gauss rifle's muzzle, and metallic gold for the one with closed visor, in order to imitate mirror sun-protective screen in the helmet. Miscellaneous: Here's I am choosing my situation. For example, here is Cuberpolice Speed-Chase Car: It has one primary solid (white), two secondary solid (dark grey and grey), one decorative (orange). My GF's way: Here's TWO metallized colors: primary ('sand blue') two secondaries ('titanum' and 'silver'), and also one decorative (lime), plus transparent for visor. So, that's my thoughts.
  9. Nice work! However, I am not sure about this model's place. Action Figures means models made from Bionicle/HF and such, plus extremely moveable figures. But it's only my thoughts.
  10. Sparky, you are the one of the best! ^____^ Excellent beast, I already want it as a set.
  11. Welcome, comrade! Motherland could be proud about her deserving sons! ;)
  12. It is nothing bad about squeaking joints. Just re-compose them with sockets few times, try re-attaching them from place to place. They will come better - I can guarantee it.
  13. Good, good. Veru good! I like how you upgraded Bulk. Also I dig Raw-Jaw's jaw. xD
  14. Superb! Brilliant pieces of art!
  15. I am agreeing with Roncanator, Splat's trick must e improved into a guide.
  16. Splat, what an excellent trick! I like it!
  17. Bonaparte, I have a principle that important pictures must be displayed in the topic, and not very important should be spoilered and/or linked. =) You can visit any of my MOC topic to see it by yourself. However, I have lots of LDD MOCs for now, and most of them has been screen-shoted and posted here, and it will be tough to re-size them all.
  18. It does helps! Thanx, Brickdoctor! However, thumbnails in my Brickshelf folder after re-uploading the screenies are a bit glitchy.
  19. It is okay about photos. I only have questions about LDD screenshots that are in .png format and has transparent background.
  20. I has been using PhotoFiltre earlier, but now I think I can use FastStone Image Viewer and/or Adobe Photoshop.
  21. What can I do with my LDD screenshots - they are larger than 800x600? Should I crop/resize them too? It could influence .png background transparency, which is not really desired.
  22. Daniel, as I can remember.
  23. Caboose BM, my perception of this is more specific that you might think. I don't consider them as robots. =)
  24. Maybe because of it's massive torso, little head built-in into shoulders and those horns? =) Thank you!
  25. It is another Microfig-scale Mech, now with a story. This machine belongs to Special Mechanical Division of His Imperial Majesty of the Rising Sun Empire. Get the LXF-file
