oops sorry double post. but had to update with mark surge also, own thought, I don't think the savage planet heroes are 3.0, neither the new 2012 ones are 4.0 or 5.0 they are still 2.0 heroes, but with different equipment depending of their mission I guess also, Surge was originally supossed to look like a Rick Dom (mobile suit) with the big legs, pretty nice for space travel

thanks for the compliment! and the program I use to draw/color these is Easy paint tool SAI, it's a free program, and a 6x8 tablet to do the work haha thanks alot for the detailed overview of the designs Aan, I will probably draw the other heroes/villains in this style (design wise), I had some designs planned for splitface, and other villains, but after learning from the bios that splitface is half organic, and that T.Reapa is an insect-like alien, I will re-do their designs, maybe I will go for something mass effect-y

the designs of the heroes is not the most impresive of all, but still, these are very blurry and also preliminar, there's hope for changes that will go to the favour of the sets. Stringer is my favourite by far the villains look ridicously well done, I may dislike the face of the yellow one a bit, but the body structure looks fairly interesting. my favourite is Voltix by far (sometimes I wonder, how would Hero factory, developed in model kits by bandai, I need to draw that)

after alot of porn and other robot things (like gundam) I been drawing, I decided to go back at HF and draw this piece (they're not 1.0)

the gunmetal piece that looks like a part of the tornax launcher is a new piece right? it looks a little bit different from the 2009 thornax launcher,like adapted to the 2006 zamor spheres rather than the thornax middle black part

because Splitface and Thunder have somewhat the same face structure, doesn't mean they are the same, HF is not really the kind of line that does put much of story on their characters, they like to keep it basic, bad guys are bad, good guys are good, Splitface must be some criminal with double personality, and because of the background he and surge are in, seems like he is some crazy smart dude. but those are only theories too, can be wrong as well

"new"? does this mean that, we'be getting back some colors we hadn't seen in a long time? or a different color palette of the always used colors? (green, red, blue..)

we totally need a blue/purple/cyan big bad dude. and make him/her control electricity just an excuse to make purple again

Now these are sure beautiful, the villains have amazing well done designs, Black Panthom may be kinda weak and bland, but I like the choice of colors and overall design, and his staff. Toxic Reapa is by far my favourite villain to date, couldn't even resist drawing him asdasf picture and the Heroes, they look amazing, Im still getting used to the old helmets of William, Mark and Natalie, I wished they had the same 1.0 helmets, but stilized to fit the new body upgrade better, just like with rocka and Evo, I gotta say Evo is totally my favourite of the heroes, he looks serious as his character, I may purchase him if I get the money hehe
