Mata Nui's looks kind of silver... other than that they all look gold, to me. Mat's probably is too. It'd be nice to have yellow, but it's probably same-old same-old trans green. But maybe with the return of blue... I like the Phankuta much more, actually. They'd be about perfect if you switched boring Antroz with sweet Krika. kk, some thoughts on the sets. Stronius: Hm. Short backwards Inika body is gross, and if his leg armor is the same as Hewkii Mahri's I'll be ticked. I can't tell anything else about him apart from the club, which is awesome. Ackar: Name reminds me of Ackbar. Fitting that he's red. I actually really like this one... possibly my favorite. His arms look just like my Gali Mistika revamp's, so that's cool. Sword looks nice, new Mahritoran blade color is good, chest recolor, and nifty leg add-ons (they're either add-ons or Inika legs with the bottoms remolded, I can't tell) are all very nice. Vastus: Looks like the worst of the bunch in this pic... but I'll reserve judgment until I see better pics. The only thing that looks cool about him currently is the double handed blade-staff. Kiina: Pretty cool overall. Her helmet reminds me of Malum's. New leg and arm armor is cool (it is new, look closer), and her spear is all nifty and swirly. Can't tell much about the body. Looks like it might just be an Inika torso with some kind of armor on it. Gelu: Cluttered in the pic. Chest armor recolor is good and mask is good, other than that I can't tell much. Mata Nui: Broooooooown! Score for Lego. Smart move making Mats brown, since old fans will be mostly interested in him and old fans like brown. Legs and arms look cool, can't tell a thing from the mask other than it looks gold (Ignika!), and his body leaves something to be desired. It worked well enough on Onua, I just don't know about Mats. I'll wait till better pics come, though. I'm fine with the Thornax again. Small and unobtrusive. ~Bunda

What contest is this? I like the new ones better than Roxtus and Vulcanus. A bit less obvious as to what tribe they belong to. I'm gonna take some guesses... Roxtus = rock Vulcanus = fire Iconox = ice Tajun = jungle Tesera = water That made me gag. BAD MOVE, GREG But the rest of the dialogue was good. Reminded me of the MNOLG, for some reason. ~Bunda

I agree with DV, but Bfa's pic is still awesome and is still on my hard drive. But the only thing that bothers me about Skrall is the shortness, not thinness of his torso. It's like... Av Matoran sized. ~Bunda

I agree with Wrink. Onua wasn't the strong one, Pohatu was. That's why Onua had to have a Pakari. The problems with Onua Mistika were 1) No hunch. 2) Very tall in comparison to his fellows. ~Bunda

I agree as well. Skrall's kinda lame, IMO. (Not as lame as Malum though.) Watch, Greg will give Strakk and Gresh the wrong character. =P ~Bunda

I loved the Barraki. ;_; I say it's Hewkii Mahri. If anyone disputes that I will list the reasons why he fails. I don't think anyone will though. ~Bunda

Hmm. I liked it. Set Wise: The Toa were mostly boring, pretty basic, but apart from Antroz and Bitil the Makuta are some of my favorite sets ever. Chirox and Krika especially. And with a few little tweaks Gali is pretty awesome too. She's the only set that I ever modded and left modded. Story Wise: Some of my favorite characters here... the good guys had probably the most boring personalities out of any year ever, bar perhaps Onua, but the baddies reeked of win and awesome. Well, besides Bitil, Vamprah, and to a lesser extent Antroz. Bitil was boring in general. Vamprah never said anything. Antroz was like... meh. Though still by far the most boring character is Tahu. Man... I never really found him interesting, but now he even lacks his anger. WTH? He's like the dullest thing ever. But then there were some real gems. Krika was an emo dude... but in a good way. I just loved his character. The only Makuta that exhibited any remorse and sadness at all the evil they'd done. And in the end he was murdered by a fellow Makuta, his polar opposite... Gorast was sweet. She's like Dalu but evil. Icarax was interesting for the time we had him. Mutran was awesome... and I loved his feud with Chirox was cool too. Mainly for the fact that he and Mutran loathed each other. Vican was so cute. I was rooting for him the whole time. Seriously, if he had died I would have gone crazy. And now I'm just rambling. All in all 2008 was a much stronger year for the villains than for the heroes, but it was still pretty good all around. I enjoyed it. ~Bunda

Yeah... the Agori look better than the Glatorian, in most cases. Strakk and Skrall are exempt from this strangeness though.
