Please look at both of their instructions and you will find all you need and the steps to put power functions in. Did you have a look in it? If you are going to use 9V on Emerald Night, simply just add the motor in somewhere but not the engine will be fine.

I haven't started the modular house collections....when they first came out I went for the Eiffel Tower and hobby train...then I didn't buy any Lego till now... Just bought quite some trains back.... a death star...but don't know what will be the next step

Do you think Active End Of Line Buffer (on Flex Track) with the LDD file we can order it directly from Lego...? lol I'm kind of lazy... and does the buffer actually move with the spring when train hit on it?
