  1. Given it was a delicate set- it does dismantle at an angry glance, its still an icon. Its complement of minifigs ,those brillaint clones makes up for several short comings. If you compare it to the newer version it could have been better. you have done a nice review-well balanced.
  2. I'm not sure when the two advent calenders, one city and one pirates , will be available but don't leave it till november. I left it last year and ended paying more for the castle one.I would guess the September or October are best and Shop at Home is the most reliable. In the UK some bricks and mortar shops do carry one of the calenders -here it was Smyths (Norn Ireland) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...236&hl=7687 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28290 Bad Dad
  3. Hi Just how incomplete is Hogwarts? I'm interested in Gringott's bank and Knockturn Alley too. I'm in the UK and would use paypal.
  4. My local Sainsbury's have Ahsoka’s Starfighter™ & Droids™ for £22.50( was an amazing £44.99)- it seems that this reduction is spreading through out the UK now . Argos are having an end of catalog sale , Lego Indiana Jones™ Shanghai Chase is £16.32 (was £24.49).
  5. Its True. No great sales in the UK. I watch Argos ,Smyths , toy'r'us ,Toys Direct, Tesco, Asda and Toymaster - its months since any good value sales have appeared. Even lego" sales and deals" hasn't had a decent new item in over 2 months. The only thing I see as good value is TRU and their Chrome Vader offer- free with over £30 spent on Star Wars lego-by the way the least you can spend to qualify is over £34. I think thats mean. One isolated item to add ,Lego® Indiana Jones™ Flight on the Flying Wing(7683) at Argos £25.99 ( £38.99 usually at Argos and £41.09 at lego online ) One last thing . Beware Sainsbury's- they had a 25% off sale off all toys for a while but their stock was amazingly bad- particularly lego( not a clone battle pack set in sight) and it included Ahsoka’s Starfighter™ & Droids™ ( 7751) for over £44 (lego shop at home £31 .29 - it was cheaper , below £30 awhile ago I could have sworn) God I miss Woolies. Sing along " Shine up your buttons with brasso, its only a penny a tin, you can buy it or steal it at Woolies , depends on the mood that your in, Shine on , Shine on, Shine on your buttons.........." 7. I didn't win the lotto. Probably because I didn't enter. So count me in.
  8. This is my first post. (noob joy) Sadly its to say how bad I feel that I had not joined eurobricks until today. I have been lurking for many years and its been enough to read along. Even though I had my lucky 5 bucks ready I cannot join in the fun. I'll do the lotto instead. Maybe Dr Peppers and a good listener. Good luck to all you lucky brickfiends -but do me one favour. If you win, take all those lovely minifigs out of the boxes and play with them.Lots. Yours Bad Dad.
