  1. Tim Bit: The Town/City line has always been my absolute favourite. In my childhood i also collected Pirates. Recently I have been interested in Harry Potter and some other licenced lines, but nowadays I can buy sets from any line - if I don't like the set itself, I can use the parts somewhere else. (Bionicles is the only line i hate, I think they aren't LEGOs at all) Skelotic: Sorry, I'm no friends at all with Finnish rock music, quite the opposite. I love Swedish schlagerpop. :pir-skull: Sandy: Nice to see other Finns, though I came here to discuss internationally. It's very interesting to see how something can relate people all over the world together so well. Maybe I start that thread about my project soon... Thanks for you all!
  2. Hi CopMike and thanks for your welcoming words. Nice to hear there are other Finns too (I couldn't check because the search is offline). And nothing wrong with Swedes, though. Aah, your music business...
  3. Hi! I'm nearly 30 years old AFOL from southern Finland. I've been hanging in Eurobricks a while and decided to begin also discussion with this little introduction. I've been collecting LEGO's my whole life, and during the few previous years the hobby has maybe ran a little bit out of hands... At the moment I'm doing inventory for my collection. I've assembled now 172 sets with over 25.000 bricks, but the brick boxes and tubes seem as full as in the beginning. Today I started also measuring the weight of my collection. My guess for final weight is about 200-250 kg, but officially I haven't got any clue about the real size of my collection (weight or brick count), we'll see. I moved into bigger apartment few months ago and at the moment I have a whole room for my LEGO hobby. Now I'm starting (first the inventory, of course) my huge brick city project, with about 200 baseplates (I think I have to build partly multi-leveled city because the lack of space...). I'm wondering if the project would deserve a thread of it's own, because I'm sure there will be several problems during the project and I think this forum could be a nice place to find answers, ideas and tips for building. Best Regards, Jvvv, Finland Ps. Any other members from Finland? ;)
