MMV is hugely worth it for the price per piece ratio alone. You don't get that kind of value on sets any more and certainly won't for the licensed POTC sets. Even if you buy it and really hate it you should be able to get your money back from the resale value once the set goes out of production later this year. Tower Bridge will likely still be available well into next year.

Asking nicely by email they recently allowed me to buy 200 of a part (maximum) I needed for a moc I'm working on through this service. When I called up with the reference number to make payment the guy on the phone was surprised I was allowed to do so. So it's worth a try, you may have better luck going through the online customer support though.

Some better pictures are needed but the mountain fortress looks too much like King's Castle Siege for me. I was hoping for more of a mountain look like the Agents Volcano set with a lot more dark green and brown thrown in.

It seems odd to me that lego release their new sets in January. You'd think a toy company would want all of their hot new products out in time for Christmas.
