Using a biscuit saved from meal time, Chickadee tries to zip line to safety. And as a bonus, The knight in training learns to ride with his master's help on an old, dusty, country road. The horse knows that it is being ridden by an uncertain rider, so a carrot is kept close to coax the uneasy creature.

A fortified watch tower in the middle east. This section of town has been taken over by the crusaders on their holy quest to retake Jerusalem. The wooden structure has slits to allow archers to fire bows through at the enemy. The market behind the tower, showing a slice of daily life. The man is bringing his sheep to sell at the market, while the woman butchers up another helpless pheasant. The soldiers inside of the watch tower. A knight returning from some spying on the enemy Images are deeplinks Comments Welcome -Infomaniac-

Hey guys, Thanks for the ideas and critique. Those 2x2 rounds are supposed to be some sort of rough stone, which breaks up the gray walls a bit. There is a lot more of that on the tan building's base. It looks way better in real life, because the shadows make it hard to photograph. There wasn't meant to be too much occurring violence in this scene, and the people in the gallows were dead long ago. Imperials used to keep the dead bodies of pirates displayed for the public to see, as a warning to all. However, that part of the entry is not the main focus. The big gate was actually a leftover from a previous idea. I wanted to do two towns that were connected by a drawbridge which had been at war for some time but had just come to peace. Naturally the opponents would've been the redcoats and the bluecoats. Alas, time and space became an issue so I scrapped that idea, but couldn't remove the door. -Infomaniac-

I feel your pain Commodore Hornbricker. This has happened to me before, and it is not a lot of fun. You do get to see the building process, which could be a good teacher, or inspiration. In the future I think that disassembling mocs in bigger chunks and then providing some sort of instructions, is the way to go. That seems to have worked for me at least. -Info

Revenge! The redcoats are executing their pirate prisoners, to avenge their fallen comrades. All seems lost for the pirates as the last three of the crew line up down range of the imperial muskets. In a last ditch effort Peg-leg Pasco kicks a banana peel under the foot of his executioner and jumps off the side of the building into the churning seas below. He begins swimming for land with one thought on his mind, Revenge! Other than that small story, this is a normal day in the city filled with fishing, toads, drinking and much much more The city is built around a fortress, hence the walls. An overview of the second level of street. This area is a fish market because of the close proximity to the water front. Peg-leg Pasco jumping off of the top of the prison. You can still see his handcuffs. An officer finds his new recruits, who were supposed to be on guard duty, on the top of the bar dead drunk. I guess men can never resist the urge to drink . Thanks for viewing and good luck to everyone else in the contest. Links: Flickr

This might play some role in the numerous contests that are going on across the lego universe.

This whole experience reminds me of when they closed down a playground near my house. It was a great little spot with swings, slides and teeter totters, but over the years had begun to break down. When the town announced that they were going to tear it down, people were outraged. The people of my town all wrote letters, and were furious at the town council for destroying the park. This lasted for a few months, until the plans for the new park became public and everyone was shocked. The new park was 10x better than the original, and it fixed some of the problems the old park had. People suddenly were glad that the old park was redone. While the new park was great, people still remembered the fond memories they had of the old park, and what a great foundation it had layed for the new park. Bionicle was a great line, but no one could say it was perfect. I feel like it was never designed for much over 4-5 years. So far every change (for the most part) that Lego has made, results in a better product, and a better company. If Lego thinks that another angle on a "Bionicle type" theme is better, than I think it will be a positive change. I think that all of us AFOLs should support Lego in this time, instead of picking at old wounds. Bionicle will always have a special place in my heart and my childhood, but I'm ready to see what comes next. Infomaniac

I've been trying to use black minifig chests without the arms. When layered they give a great effect. Curves are a problem however, and I can never seem to get them to come out right. This is a great topic by the way .

92c Viva La Revolution! The peasants are revolting against the cruel redcoats, and have beaten them back into the governor's mansion. The governor is cornered, and in a last ditch effort, orders his remaining men to fire on his own people. Who will win? Yes that man is cutting off the redcoat's head. This is a moc completely designed around those windows and the brick breaking through them. For more, go to Flickr -Infomaniac

question about lego star wars the compleat saga
Infomaniac replied to lego maniac's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well this would stink, because that game was my main reason behind buying a Wii, and now it looks like I wasted 250$ . Seriously though, this game is well worth the 20 dollars, and I might be picking it up in the future. Infomaniac -
Chrome gold 1 x 2 tiles and flaking chrome
Infomaniac replied to jonwil's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I had the same problem with my old chrome swords I'm not sure if there is anything you can do about it, except maybe spray-paint the parts again I guess that the chrome was applied after the molding of the product, so the newer pearl gold colors might have better durability (because pearl gold is in the plastic itself). Best of luck -
Hey that looks great I like the way you've removed all of the yellow and replaced some of the blue on the wings with gray. Any reason why the missiles at the wing tips are differently colored than the ones on the underside? I'd love to see the truck redone as well Infomaniac

Some changes to the forum layout
Infomaniac replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
What about lego military? Where do I post those mocs? Is it still under "Other Themes" or is it in "Lego Adventure?" Thanks Infomaniac P.S. I love the fact that you've included power miners into it's own category (sort of) I was always confused as to where to post those mocs. -
The French all the way My second choice was blue coats though Still waiting for Lego to release more of them for my collection Infomaniac

That is creative . I love the use of Han solo's torso and prof. Umbridge's hair on little Miss Muffet. I got a good laugh out of jack blindly falling down the hill This is great Infomaniac
