The sets I buy, go on sale exactly 1 week after I purchase them.

I think the line is brilliant... one of the cleverest uses of the light brick I've seen. And the spinning ring on the mothership with the 1950's cheesy sound effect... just brilliant.

I've been an adult collector of Lego, on and off, since the first Star Wars sets in 1999... but never played with them until Pirates of the Caribbean sets came put this year. I'm not sure what it is about POTC; it's not my favorite movie series... and I've been enamoured with other Lego series... just never played with them. Star Wars=never played Indiana Jones=never played Agents=never played Batman=never played Pirates of the Caribbean=not only have I played, but it's got me scratch-building sets which... except for a Spider-car and Jokermobile... I've never done. But now I'm getting my Agents sets back out and, combining them with Alien Invasion, I'm building up my Lego City for some BIG adventures. And when the Marvel and DC superheroes hit next year, it'll be even bigger!

I'm building Grand Emporium as we speak, and I'm loving it! I have Fire brigade coming this week. I'm looking to get Pet Store next.

I was prepared to pass on this set... until I played the bone cage level on the video game. Then I had to have it.

That's the exact reaction I had to having American children referred to as 'violet and bloodthirsty rugrats'. And if American-bashing is tolerated, while pointing out hypocrisy isn't, then this isn't the welcoming and friendly site I thought it was.

Violent? Bloodthirsty? Yeah, because violence, riots and looting never happen in the UK...

Just a couple of Lego Power Functions lights. I'm eventually going to try and light all the lanterns.

I think the Pearl is perfect the way she is... small and fast. Besides, a ship is only as good as her Captain...

I don't know which Joker I like best... the original, or the new one. But until the new one comes out:

I'm guessing the JLA headquarters/satellite will be the big set... EDIT: and it would be really cool to have a bigger minifig of Darkseid, and a couple Para-demons, as the bad guys for this set...

I'm guessing there's more sets... including retailer exclusives... that Lego has yet to announce. Plus the Feb release of TPM/3D may have jumbled their release schedules; it did for Hasbro.
