Thanks for the nice comments! @ Si-Mocs: I didn't worry too much about the scale, but I guess in minifig-scale it would be about 80-100 studs long.

Hello, Here's my entry for the Real World Starfighter Contest on flickr. A russian starfighter called "Чернобог" (Chernobog) flickr | Brickshelf Best regards, Stefan

Thank you all :-) Even though I haven't read the book, I know it's story and about the pigs. I actually expected that someone might comment that the cow should be a pig. But it was never my intent to build a vignette which represents the book. The build was just inspired by it.

Hey, I built this vignette for the latest contest of my LUG, with the topic "Farm Live". It is inspired by George Orwell's novel, although I haven't read it yet. flickr | Brickshelf Best regards, Stefan

Thank you all very much! @ -zenn: It seems like the combination of these windscreen parts polarizes. I am absolutely sure of it, in fact the cockpit is where the whole MOC started. @ LuxorV: Sure, no proble, I changed the pic's size. @ lightningtiger: The long piece in the front is always a weapon of some sort.

Hello, flickr | Brickshelf Ever since I saw the first pictures of the little Lego globe, I dreamed of building the iconic scene of Charlie Chaplin's ballet with the globe in "The Great Dictator", which is one of my most favourite movies. Here's a video of the scene, but I highly recommend to watch the whole movie! Best regards, Stefan

Thank you! No, my VV was not inspired by the Wipeout, I actually know very little of that game. But what I do know about is that the racers in Wipeout are sleek and more or less wedge-shaped, so there's a good chance my VV looks similar to one of them.

Hey, Here's my Vic Viper for this year: flickr | Brickshelf Best regards, Stefan

Thanks for the nice comments Yes, that's an Old DkGrey slope. There are bits of Old Dk Grey scattered all over the ship. The rocket launcher is red because I wanted a bright and flashy colour there, and I only have these colours in very few colours.

Hello, Here's my take on a Maschinen Krieger Starfighter: flickr | Brickshelf Best regards, Stefan

Thank you for the nice comments! @ Legostein: I think the numbers on the fighter are a numbering in a squadron and not a type label.

I took more than 50 photos with different ambient light brightness and exposure settings of the camera until I was happy with the picture. It might have worked with a dimmable spot directed at the stage, but I had none at home. Of course, the Hey Boy, Hey Girl visuals are also nice In the flickr page about my MOC, I included a link to another video of a Do It Again performance:

Thank you all! @ sputnik16: They're one of the big and most influental bands when it comes to electronic music. You most likely heard at least the song Galvanize ( )@ Yatkuu: By front of the stage, do you mean the stage with the music equipment? I wanted it to be dark, since the stage is dark. That's why I included the additional pic. If you mean the very front of the picture, there are just some minifigs as an audience. @ kciR: I've seen some videos of their songs at Glastonbury, but not Do It Again. I thought it wasn't included in the BBC coverage?

flickr | Brickshelf Hello, I'm a big fan of The Chemical Brothers and so I came up with the idea of building a MOC of their live stage. One of their visual effects at concerts is a huge LED screen, and I built it using transparent red and blue bricks lit from behind. Here's a video of their performance of the song "Do It Again": With best regards, Stefan

Thank you all! As for the long gun at the front (yes, that's a gun), I tried different lenghts and only with a really long front gun the whole starfighter is in optical balance. I knew that this would be a polarising design, but I really like it that way. @ CptMugwash: No, it's not just you, there are a few dk grey bricks scattered among the hull ;-)
