Great! The sail barge will finally hit the shelves. I think it will be in the new dark grey (bley) colours which is a bit of a let down for me. I hope its interior will be very detailled, probably even with Jabba's gold picture on the wall.
I think it will come with an additional desert skiff as the Sarlacc would not make any sense without the small vehicle.
I think I'll also get this but don't really like the rounded bricks. A beefed up version of the original ship would have been great. Anyway, I think the guard is the best minifig in this set. Its torso is nice.
Sail Barge with lots of aliens and Jabba's picture/relief on the wall
Not a ship but...
I'd also like to see a huge cloud city diorama (2000 pcs.) with a myriad of white tiles, arches, windows, Leia's day room including the spiral sculpture etc, etc ;)
I once tried to build one with all my old white parts but it didn't turn out any good.
I don't lier the Viking sets. There is a lot of juniorization going on and they remind me of the Knight's Kingdom sets.
I think these are really designed for kids. 8-|
Yeah, now that the Sandcrawler is available, the Sail Barge would be the next big 'minor' model of the OT.
It'd better have awesome interior, though (blue elephant dude included) :-D
Hi everyone,
I wanna see my 7725 on the rails again but can't come up with a decent layout.
Can you recoomend a good website that has lots of 12v layout ideas?
Thanks
I watched the bounty hunter scene again this morning and find it a bit strange that Dengar is included. He really appeared way in the background for just a second in the scene, talking to Vader.
TLC should have included 'Zuckuss' or whatever he is called instead (the green one in the diving suit, standing on the very right of the bridge) :)
VI because of the Sail Barge which I hope will be released later this year.
Is Cloud City really worth the money? Looks kinda incomplete to me..probably a (play) set for the younger ones.
I think building up the model is the fun part of LEGO as I don't actually 'play' with it.
I could never be arsed to dismantle the Statue of Liberty, though.
Jay, you're not going to rebuild the Crawler. Did you just buy it for parts, then?
I'm toying with the thought to buy this but 170 is a lot to pay. The interior is a tad disappointing. nonetheless, It'll be a fun build. Are there any alternate ideas (photos) in the instruction booklet?
What would you say, is this the best minifig scale SW model or should I get the Falcon instead?
I just don't want to be bored with it after a few weeks.-P
Hi everyone,
I've always tried to stay away from the Star Wars theme but this utterly convinced me. Will be the first SW set for me. It looks a bit like a vacuum cleaner or something but has such a nifty interior from what I can see and I actually like the different colours it uses. Secret stuff abounds.
Didn't the Jawas use everything they could find to repair/improve the crawler? I think this is what the mixed colours are about.
The bridge sticker would indeed be a let-down and I think the movie crawler was even bigger!
This will cost the horrendous sum of 150 euros or even more, I guess, as the target group would be 22+ anyways.
If TLC even did this obscure vehicle, Jabba's Sail Barge will follow - that's for sure.
