Did you guys... notice that there are some little round colors at the back of all my figures? Those little colors are the status bar recording the combating power of the figure... This system is invented by myself of course... Yellow/green = mobility (e.g. this swordman can move 3 steps, or move 2 steps + attack) Gray = defense rate Red = attack rate (there would be more colors in this category, 'red' is simple physical attack only, and there are more abilities, e.g. Magic Blast, Necromance, Summon, Heal) Black = damage if hit the target The game base is a LEGO chess board. So the figure can move around and have fun...

Thanks I played Metal Slug a lot too... I love this Metal Slugnoid This looks weak at the 1st time...but when you know how to use it... It will become a great mecha.... The way I use it...mainly as a shelter When there is a lot of bullet coming towards me...then I jump out from the mecha. That will give me a short time to be " invincible "!!! That is the great thing on using all this Metal Slug Mecha!! (Jump out = super evasion) Thanks YES, the Gatling guns (GG) is the hardest part to build I spent most of the time to think how to let the GG to be almost pointing 360 degree free... Finally it can ...350 degree (I think) only~~~>_<" But I satisfied with it...

Actually on Brickshelf, there are quite a lot of ppl using LEGO building "transformer" But most of them cannot transform... Some of them can but looks ....a bit blocky.....not too attractive. I like to build "minifigure sized model" ( I mean the mecha can be played together with LEGO mini-figure) e.g. we can build a horse with LEGO bricks...only the problem is LEGO brick is quite big...turns out we may get a "trojian horse" rather than a "normal" horse... Thus I am always happy when I built a model fit to mini-figure scale. This transformer is a typical example. Thanks all of you for reply. p.s. name this transformer??....sorry no idea....

Metal Slugnoid This mecha model is the third time that I attempted...(too bad~~) By the time goes on, my building technic improves.... Thus I try again to build this mecha again (because this is one of my favourite.) Enjoy

Thanks for asking hard or not....it depends ... This mecha EP-type-A is basically following the design of PS game, called "FRONT MISSION" However I need to choose correct parts and design how to connect all parts into the "form" that I need. This would be a bit difficult but I am quite good at doing this. So still ok to me. I had spent two days for this Mecha. Most difficult part is to accommodate the minifig (the cockpit) in this 11cm tall Mecha.

I built it Thank all of U~

From Ldraw to real MOC, Step by Step
hopeso009 replied to Tenorikuma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The way You are going to do is really impressive to me. I built quite a lot of MOC myself, I was once thinking the same as you but turns out I abandoned this thought. Firstly because I don't use my VISA card for internet at all. ( I don't trust the internet for money. ) So I cannot buy on bricklink. Secondly because I found out (like what you found out) quite a lot of colors in LEGO have very limited parts made. Most available parts can be found on "black", "red", "yellow" but for the rest of colors (blue, grey, dark grey, brown, & etc), LEGO did not make all range of parts for these colors...this makes me feel frustrated on designing MOC, sometimes some parts really simply doesn't exist but in MOC it cannot be simply replaced with other color. Thirdly building MOC in software = wasting time, because...it takes a lot of time to rotate and move....operate the computer. I would prefer to do it by hand (much more time saving). Therefore finally I developed the way of MOC is simply build it with all bricks available around myself...(may be wrong color) then after built, check if it is available for me to change certain "unmatched" colored bricks to other color. Usually it takes me the shortest time. e.g. I am doing a MOC of a pig, I knew the color should be better to either "pink" or "orange". However I don't have pink or orange color parts at all. So I built it with yellow color.
