  1. Can't wait for the folder to go public. :pir-skull:
  2. All of the models are great, but the first stands out as the best.
  3. Great job, I love looking at this, the variety of color is amazing!
  4. It'll come out in the summer then, Lego made too many new molds to drop the line now.
  5. Finished. Could a mod please remove the under construction from the title?
  6. Today we will be interviewing Ronald McDonald, a fast food icon. Never mind, Ronald is going to be in the hospital, so we will be reviewing this set that conveniently fell on him. The set is: 4915 Mini Construction 3 in 1 I think that this set has some nice pieces, and a few decent models in it. Packaging The box really captures the essence of this set, creation. It shows all 3 of the models, and that inspires me to build my own models. Set Information Name: Mini Construction 3 in 1 Number: 4915 Year: 2007 Pieces: 68 Price: 5 USD, 3.52 EUR, 2.80 GBP Minifigures: 0 Theme: Creator Peeron My Brickshelf (when moderated) Parts This set contains a nice assortment of parts, I love the amount of yellow and dark grey. The 6 wheels are a nice feature as well. Great value for these parts I think, it's worth the 5 dollars spent on them. Interesting Parts A nice assortment of interesting parts, including 2 transparent red slopes, a nice glass piece, a lever, 6 wheels, and 3 wheel connector pieces (only 2 shown.) Now let's begin building this puppy! Model 1 This turned out to be my favorite of the 3 models in this set, and you will see why below. Front Well this shot turned out ok, I like how it looks like the claw is lunging out to get you. As for the set, the drivers area is very simple, but it works very well. It features a great transparent piece, which is always nice. Side I like this view, it shows you how the crane is built, which is fairly basic, and looks a little weird to me, a long segment followed by a short segment? I would've preferred 2 medium sized crane segments. Top/Back View This picture shows the top of the cab, which is very bland except for the cone/smokestack. The back's only real feature is the headlight thing. Overall, this is my favorite model, and it earns a 15/20, for good design, but a little bland in some places, and a few minor flaws. Model 2 This model is a forklift, and is well designed, but doesn't appeal to me as much as the crane. Front The cab is made the same way as model 1, and is the same as how model 3's cab will be designed. They are only really changed a slight bit to make them fit on the vehicle. The tires are not attached to the forklift, but I put them on to show it like the plastic container shows this set. Side This shot shows the side of the truck, showing you the back as well, which is made of two connector pieces to give it a slight bit of detailing. It looks good though, and not too blocky like some other minis Lego has designed. This is my second favorite model in this set, and it earns an 14/20, barely loosing to the crane. Model 3 This is my least favorite model, and I can't really tell why, I just don't like it. Front View This picture shows the cab, and a part of the trailer it is pulling. The cab is nothing new, practically the same as the last two. The only difference is that lever shown on the cab, and I can't think of what it is called on a real truck. Side View The trailer is made from all of the yellow plates used on this thing so far, held together by the wheel assembly. It does look like a flat-bed trailer though. It's better than the Butt Ugly Trailer Piece (BUTP) easily. Overall, I give this model a 14/20 as well, it is well designed, and has no difference in points from model 2. Conclusion This set has a great selection of parts, and executes the designs well. Set 1: 15/20 Set 2: 14/20 Set 3: 14/20 Parts: 17/20 Overall: This set receives a 62/80

Thank you for posting this VBBN, this event deserves a moment of silence from the community, because many of us are from the United States. I remember this sad day, and I feel sorry for the people in the numerous places that were attacked.
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks. I had a little bit of trouble understanding your English, but I figured it out eventually. The only problem with it is your verb tenses, you did current tense instead of past tense a lot.
  10. Thanks for the positive responses everyone, and Guss, all you really are missing out on is the cool printed pieces, not like these sets had some super rare pieces.
  11. I'm going to take mine apart later, I just had it together for the review.
  12. Imperial Landing Craft Review Welcome to my 1st good review. Today we will be reviewing the hunkajunk of '07, the Imperial Landing Craft. It's a great parts set for sure, and with a few mods it's pretty sturdy. Watch out, it'd kill you if it landed on you. Stock Photo Set Information Name: Imperial Landing Craft Set Number: 7659 Price: $49.99 USD Theme: Star Wars Year:2007 Pieces: 473 Minifigures: 5 My Brickshelf Peeron.com Overall View of the Set You can just imagine this ship landing in the death star hanger bay, with a battalion of red guards and the Emperor walking out. Minifigs: There's 3 minifigures instead of 5 because I use the torsos for my army, and there's no need to show repetitive minifigures. I like the Tie Pilot, always need another of those. I would've preferred him with a weapon, or a shadow trooper helmet, the current one looks pretty bland. The new Sandtrooper is pretty neat, I like the new fabric element, I look forward to seeing it in many different colors. The Ship Here's a picture of the ship, without the Drop Pod. It's not the shot that makes it look like a dying cat, it seriously does. I think the best part of the ship itself is the cockpit. It's not that I don't like the ship, but it's really just a skeleton without the drop pod. TLC could also have made the spine of the ship sturdier, you can kind of see my mods in some shots, the lime green and blue 2x1 plates that I use to hold the spine together, because it is 2 technic bricks held together. Here's a picture of the cockpit. Pretty basic, nice glass though, to big to be really universally useful on most ships, though. The Top Fin I think that the top fin is an amazing source of wall pieces, 2 narrow and 1 full wall, plus some diagonal ones, which are useful pieces. The colors are a little blotchy, and since this is a main visible part of the set, makes the set look blotchy, in turn. Back http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Paulmc13.../picture121.jpg It has a pretty basic engine design, but 5 blue transparent discs. The also back features a technic mechanism to move the wings back with a lot of gears used. I also would have liked to see the back of the ship a little covered, on the sides it is kind of open, showing a jumble of different colored technic pieces. That knob in the picture is used to turn the wings, like below: Wings Moved My wings are unaligned, so it's lopsided when they are unfolded. But I'm not in the mood to fix that, 2 hours of building for an inch of perfection. Anyway back on topic, this set uses some pretty nice technic mechanisms. That's all I have to say for this ship, now to the Drop pod, which I think is a lot better than the ship. Drop Pod Well before I begin, here's a picture of the inside. It used to be pretty cramped, but Stormtroopers Yards took out the cannons. I also repositioned the chairs, because they were weird looking in the middle of the ship, with the cannons removed. This also has a bomb bay, you place a transparent green cone with a transparent orange stud on the bottom in it, and the knobs on the front are pulled to drop the "bombs." Cannons One put together, one apart. I can't really call these cannons, I'll call them crap cannons. The crap cannons are pretty, well crappy, but I can imagine little kids love them, because they add great playability for the younger kids. They get a distance of 10-15 feet. (about 4 meters in metric). Bottom The bottom is just held up by two arch pieces.I think how they made the bottom works better than it would look just laying on the bottom, seems more high and mighty to me, and that's what that old wrinkly dude in a bathrobe would want. Well I think I've said all I can, and all you all can bare. Conclusion This set has great potential, but it doesn't live up to it fully, in my opinion, but it can easily be modified to be a lot better. Price: 9/10, could use a few more pieces, Then it'd be even. Playability: 4/10, Not much alone, just 1 faction. Could use an R2 and 3P0 to hunt for ( These aren't the droids your looking for), that would make the price 10/10 as well. Minifigs: 8/10, Pretty good, 1 or 2 more stormtroopers would be useful, TLC seems to like less minifigs. Buy a Stormtroopers Battle Pack and you'll have enough though. Design: 4/5 for the drop pod, without cannons it'd be 5/5. 3/5 for the shuttle, the technic mechanism and the cockpit save this set in design. 7/10 total. Parts: 9/10 Pretty good parts, nice source of white parts for MOCing. Overall: 37/50 overall, but with a few mods you can have a pretty good dropship.
  13. Welcome to my second review, which is of an old, and not well known set, one of the 1999 McDonald's promo sets. What inspired me to right this review is seeing how craptacular the new "lego" promotional sets are from McDonald's. I hope you enjoy this set as much as I have. 2032-1 McDonald's Promo Review The box Bag What a nice looking package, probably McDonald's best toy ever. I think the bag accurately describes how the set looks, and it shows the nice printed slope, which is always a good thing. This set doesn't come with any minifigures, which isn't unexpected, because it would be expensive to produce a new minifigure hair mold for this guy, plus a new printed head, and torso. That would cost more than what McDonald's is making from a Happy Meal. Set Information: Name:McDonald's Promo Set Number 1 Number:2032-1 Year:1999 Theme:Promotional Pieces:18 Minifigures:0 Peeron.com My Brickshelf ( When Moderated ) Overall Shot Here's an overall shot of the set, with a good picture of that amazing printed piece, I would have thought that since this is a promotional set sold with a cheap meal, they would have used stickers, but TLC pleasantly surprises me with a printed piece. Front Shot Again, here's a great view of that nice printed piece, which I can't say enough good stuff about. This set also comes with some nice plates, a 2x8, a 2x6, and two 2x4s, all in yellow. It also has two 1x6s, and a 1x8 in red. I think that those would be useful for your average lego builder, for making his/her buildings and vehicles more secure. You'll be able to see more shots of the pieces below. The Build This was a pretty fast build, I did it in a minute with instructions, so you probably could too. The Instructions The instructions are kind of small in this shot, so it doesn't slow down some people with slower connections. You can view the full size instructions here. The instructions are in 1 page, and they show all of the other available promotional sets, to make sure you come back for more food. It also shows some ways to combine the sets to make "awesome" vehicles. I know if I was a little kid, I'd want that big vehicle to kill the evil lego men. Parts This set features a nice amount of plates ( as mentioned earlier ), and sloped pieces, which are always good. 7 different sloped pieces in all, including the awesome printed piece. It also comes with a helicopter blade, and the piece to attach it to your creations. You can easily beef up this small blade with plate pieces, and it will be good for MOCing. Interesting Pieces This set doesn't come with that many interesting pieces, but it does come with the above mentioned helicopter pieces, and the cool printed slope. Not much to say here really, I've covered all of it already. The Printed Piece I've said so much good about it, and look at it. It's awesome, and a lot better than a cheap sticker. The Build The base for this cool coptor, which is made of two 1x6s in red, and two 2x4s in red. Now we build it up a little bit. Now it is really starting to look like a helicopter! Now we just add the finishing touches, the proverbial icing on this cake. You can see how it looks like a helicopter. If this set were released to the public in a different color scheme, such as the City Police color scheme, it would be a pretty decent seller for people who are into miniature models. The Conclusion All in all, I think that this set is a nice little set, and arguably the best promotional set TLC has released. Build: 3/5 The build is a little bit bland and quick, which is understandable because of it's low piece count. Design:5/5 I think this is a well designed set. Pieces:4/5 The set features a good selection of pieces, and easily surpassed my expectations for a McDonald's toy. Overall: 12/15 Oh no! The empire is attacking Ronald McDonald!!! Too bad they forgot their blasters, Ronald lives to cook burgers another day!
  14. Journal of Mars Mission Astro Recon Fighter:"We flew around for days, with no sign of other life. We hunted for days to find these rare power crystals. Eventually, we found them, but with a few aliens as well. We managed to take out a few, but my squadron was killed. I flew away, and am the only survivor of this attack." 7695 Astro Fighter Review Box This box is well designed, with a neat background, and a picture accurately describing this set, and showing all of it's main features. This box made me purchase this set, and I don't regret this purchase one bit! Set Information Name:MX-11 Astro Fighter Set Number:7695 Year:2007 Theme:Mars Mission Pieces:57 Minifigures:2 Price: $4.99 USD, $3.58 EUR, $2.85 GBP. My Brickshelf (when moderated) Bricklink Catalouge The Set I like this set, it comes with a nice astronaut with a cool torso, a golden visor, and an actual head! Lego could just as easily given him a black head, but they decided to give him a cool head under that visor. That is a great decision by Lego. The only problem I have with this set is the fact that it has a weird alien. It's arms don't even move, and it's horrible for playbillity. Minifigures Here you can see the cool astronaut, without his helmet, and the gummy bear like alien. The head of the astronaut is one of those heads Lego keeps recycling, but it's still nice that this astronaut has a face, unlike those stormtroopers. The torso is really useful if you want to make pilots for your army. Just change out the arms, legs, and head, and you have yourself a great pilot. Instructions The instructions feature the same art as the box, which is nice, because the box art is cool. The instructions are very clear on what you are supposed to do to build this set. The only thing they are missing is piece callouts, which isn't that bad in such a small set. The Build This set has a fairly easy build, it should take you about 7 minutes at most, I did it in about 5 minutes. Parts You can see a there is fairly decent selection of parts for this fighter. I like how they included the 2x4 plates with technic holes in them instead of regular 2x4s this set is a treasure trove of them. I also like the tail fin, and the wing pieces, they are very useful in creating your own fighters. Interesting Parts This set comes with a nice amount of 2x4s with technic holes, as mentioned earlier. It also comes with a nice cockpit in transparent orange, which is always nice. It also comes with 2 orange 1x4s, which I think are mildly rare, and orange is a cool lego color, so they deserve to be included. This set also comes with 1 power crystal that Mars Mission sets are fighting for. This set also comes with 2 black heads, and 2 transparent blue pieces. I think that this set has a lot of useful parts, and now we should see how they are used. Lets Start Building! We start with the base of the ship, which is very simple, but it works well for this ship. Build it up Now we add a few pieces, and the cockpit is starting to come together. Add Glass Now we attach the glass, which finishes the cockpit, now onto the wings. Right Wing Left Wing The wings are well designed, but the tops could use a little bit of greebling. Like a round 2x2 plate, with a Mars Mission logo, that would work pretty well. The Cannon I think that this is a nice design for a cannon, and an inventive use for black minifigure heads. Attach it Now that the cannon is attached, this set looks ready to go slaughter some aliens. I would have liked both sides to have a cannon, but the set is still a nice set. Conclusion I think that the Astro Fighter is a great set, but has a few minor flaws, the biggest one the gummy bear alien. Price:5/5, This set is a great for $5, it has 2 minifigures, and that makes it a great Mars Mission army builder. Parts:4/5, I think this set has a great variety of parts, and it is worth buying if you need parts. Build:3/5, The build is interesting, but it is a little bit boring, and a little repetitive. Design:4/5, This set has a great design, with a nice color scheme. The only flaw is that it only has 1 cannon, not 2. Minifigures:2/5, this set has a nice astronaut, but a poorly designed alien, which could've been made better, but isn't. Overall:18/25 This set was a great set, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Oh Noes! He's going to crash! Why doesn't that alien help? Oh ya, he's fighting the astronaut. I guess this is why drunk piloting is bad...
  15. I agree, it is. Anyway, this topic is going great. And a new Metallica album comes out tomarrow.
  16. Great job, I love the detail you put into this. I might have to borrow the design for the head crabs, they are very cool.
  17. This looks like a great set, and I'm happy you were dumping spongebob, he deserves that. This set looks very nice, and if I see it I will probably pick it up.
  18. I want this set so bad!!! I think this set is awesome, and would make me really happy come December. I might just buy it.
  19. The ring is , but the minifigures and well designed fighter make up for it. I rate this set at above average from what I've seen. I might pick this set up, but the Hyperdrive Ring would be dismantled pretty fast. Great Review!
  20. The set looks very nice. I did find your review to be a little bunched up, but it was understandable, and got it's point across. Back to the set, I might buy this set, I would have prefered it with the monkey too, monkeys rock!
  21. I bite. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks, I am looking forward to seeing how your battle turns out.
  23. Well, about that. You'd better start hiding.
  24. I love this battlefield, and the background story is awesome. I also love the different armors for everyone. Great job!
  25. What a nice layout! You have done a great job, and you should get a pat on the back from me. Unfortunately, I can't give a pat on the back through an internet connection, so just pat yourself on the back. Great job!
