Thanks for the comments guys! Yeah, I know the windmill is running really fast, but I tried to make it run slowly with "technic parts", but this was the best I managed to do... I agree! It would be better if I had rounded it a bit more... Yes, you have seen it some months ago in the water display. But only a few days ago, I had the time to take individual pictures of it... so finally here it is...

95d Hi guys! It's been a while since my last pirate creation, but here it is: Discovering Brazil This creation recreates the arrival of Pedro Alvares Cabral (a portuguese sailor) in the beautiful Brazil beaches in 22 April, 1500. Hope you like it! You can see more details here: Flickr

Hi there! I've used water in a Lego diorama this year. It's not city, it's Pirates, but the water scene can be used in other themes. Just take a look! You can see more pictures here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=384635 These are three aquariums made in glass. The one in the middle had a crack, but we took the water off, dry it and then glued it. It resisted for all the 2nd TomarLego exhibition in Portugal (4 days). Some of the mocs were on top of plastic glasses and some were underwater creating some really nice effects. It was a great experience and we're going to do it again next year!

Well go ahead! It is a nice castle with fantastic stories about it.

Yes! It´s a lovely town in the center of Portugal and it is where we do our main Lego event every year. Tomar

Admiral M was right. I used a "Minifig Cook's Hat" on top of a sea weed. I think you're right! There's a big difference between the pre-fab hull and the rest of the moc. If I would built it now, I would do those changes... Thanks guys for the comments!

Wow! It's a fantastic creation! Love every detail! the disposition of the main building inside the water is marvelous!

Really nice work! -
The dog is touching Vader's helmet... Looks like he didn't make it! The trans neon light is the radioactive liquid escaping from the barrel to the floor... I'm not planning in doing it larger, but I'm thinking in doing more apocalyptic scenes... maybe with some zombies... Thanks for the comments!
-
Hi! I love the theme Post-apocalypse but I have never built anything about it... until now! It's called Welcome to Arizona. Hope you like it! More pictures here: Brickshelf and here: Flickr

Hello Everybody! Thanks for all the comments about our Pirate display! It took us a lot of work, but we managed to put it together! Thanks Slyowl! Its wonderful to have your positive feedback. I really love your mocs... Yeah, the windmill is spinning fast even after I made some adjustments... (It spinned even faster before ) I'll post these mocs as soon as it is possible for me... ok?! Next year, we'll try to make the rocks until the bottom and we'll work the underwater scenes... and of course, we'll try to do our own moc-ships. Thanks again! You can see more pictures here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=384635 (as soon as it's moderated)
