LEGO finally got smart and trashed the villagers in favor for something every fan would fall for! I can't help but wonder why we have not seen any 2010 sets yet, these guys don't seem to be in the story line.

I have waited 9 years to see Tahu Mata again. I doubt anything could be more exciting XD

I think it is a mini thornatus too. I'm guessing that like l said before, all the sets have a gold bonus, like the clear sparkly Avohkii that came with the 2003 Taknuva. That would make sense, each object would be like a token for the year in the story. I hope that they don't mark the price up because of the bonuses. I also doubt that collectibles are back, because the Hau would be on all the sets. I think there is interest in the past years of BIONICLE, I know a younger fan (I got him started in BIONICLE), who likes the story and has more 2001-2004 sets than me (ebay FTW). All I can say is this is the best marketing decision LEGO has made since picking up the Batphone and calling Advance to create BIONICLE. ~iL

Theis deff a gold Hau on Tahu's box. I think ot comes with him, like the clear mask of light.

I love the Bio story b/c it is so unique, due to how it is written. They should just make another MNOLG, it's cheap and everybidy would be happy.

Marketing wise, it would be a very smart decision for LEGO. They could essentially re purpose the BIONICLE line in order to fit a different economic situation and target group, while still catering to the hardcore fans with old characters. ~iL

What the Fudge has happened to Tahu?????????????? He went from being a mighty warrior, the most iconic BIONICLE set ever, to a chibi. And the scary part is I like it. If this is real, I might just pee my pants. However demoalizing or immature, it would be a tribute to the ultimate year of BIONICLE. I agree that these characters will probably not be in the story though. ~iL
