  1. Yes. There was 7885: Robin's scuba jet: Attack of the penguin from 2008 which only included the Penguin, Robin, and penguin minions.
  2. That quote about the new robin figure being very red was from way back. If I remember correctly, that lego store employee was specifically referring to the winter wave, and more precisely, the manta set. This would make sense as the robin in the manta set was indeed more red-but not because he was red robin, it was because he was scuba robin. This doesn't confirm or deny anything, and the prelim pic still looks pretty ambiguous, but that quote doesn't really have anything to do with it.
  3. The head is definitely supposed to go on fully. The ones they displayed at the 2007 Toy fair had the heads properly put on just like any other minifigure. Also, since the arms are raised, the joints are definitely supposed to move. There are more pictures of it here: http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/swexperience/toyfair2007/lego/
  4. I don't know about all of them, but some might be the Bronze Boba Fett, the Gold Boba Fett, and the Silver Boba Fett. These were given out at Celebration V, Comic-Con, and May the Fourth promotions. There were only 2 of each figure released. EDIT: The other two are probably the Bronze C-3PO given out at a Comic-Con, and the solid Silver C-3PO given out at Celebration IV.
  5. Or even simpler than that, just tracking collars. They did use the name task force X on JLU, but they used it pretty interchangeably with the suicide squad on Arrow. The episode where the team debuted in Arrow was even called Suicide Squad, and they reference it as such at least once in the episode. It makes sense as Arrow is a more adult show and definitely shouldn't have any problem with the word suicide. It kinda follows the trend as JLU was a cartoon specifically aimed at kids so it uses Task Force X and Arrow the more mature show uses Suicide Squad. I agree that "the squad" was a pretty bad compromise for it as they could have easily used the Task Force X title as others have previously. I am just hoping that maybe only the DLC is called the Squad and that they don't actually refer to themselves as such in the game. Hoping that Lego DC continues with the trend in 2015's sets with many more characters/locations, I would hope that we may get some of those Suicide Squad figures, specifically Amanda Waller, Deathstroke, and Captain Boomerang.
  6. Do you have any confirmation of the PC version at all? I can't find it on any of the couple websites listing it so far, including gamestop.
  7. They even reconfirm that there will be DLC for PC version of the game in those press releases, but the PC version is still the only one not listed anywhere! Its really confusing. I hope its not download only from steam or something. I want a plastic man!
  8. Not to burst your bubble (no pun intended), but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't go with a risky character who doesn't really fit at all in that set like Red Hood when they have scuba robin, who fits in the set. Also they seem to be promoting the alternate suits this time around, so he is the very logical choice. You never know though.
  9. Actually, the person who built the machine was Darwin Elias. He made a deal with Captain Cold and the Rogues to let them use his genome coding machine. Not that that is really that relevent to the current discussion.
  10. No, Grodd has never been in any of the various incarnations of the rogues. He was always a separate villain. He has even been an enemy of the rogues in some stories (New 52). I think end of October.
  11. Has anybody found a PC version of the game listed anywhere? I read on one article that the game would be available on ALL platforms including PC, but it isn't listed on gamestop (I want a plastic man!), or any other retailer.
  12. No, that was CM4Sci.
  13. I don't know why everyone keeps going back to that poster?! The artist clearly stated that they had no knowledge of future mini figures, it was just a promotional piece. For example, the cyborg is the Teen Titans Go! version, and we obviously wouldn't get that.
  14. Lego just posted this to their facebook page: Before I would have said not to look into this too much, but considering we got 2 things from the previous posters of these types, I would say we have an even stronger case for a green lantern and New 52 Wonder Woman figure in the 2015 wave.
  15. The artist stated that "The depictions of characters and choices of characters were entirely based on personal preference and aesthetics." For example, the cyborg was based off Teen Titans GO! because their kids liked the show. So the reason a lot of them are based on JLU is probably just that the artist liked the designs from the show.
  16. I think the artist that made that image was the one who drew the original scarface lego comic. So it doesn't "keep showing up." It is just the artist using that same version again.
  17. I thought they were usually stickered, actually. I know a lot of the Star Wars UCS ones were (X-wing, Y-wing, etc.). Correct me if I am wrong. Here you go:
  18. Well, the way the Wall Street Journal words it is: At Comic-Con, Lego plans in all to reveal more than 20 exclusives, including other limited-edition sets and life-size models for film franchises such as “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Star Wars” and “The Lego Movie.”" That seems pretty clear cut that it is not 20 exclusive sets and minifigs, just 20 exclusive things at the Lego booth. http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2014/07/17/check-out-the-huge-lego-model-of-groot-and-rocket-raccoon-for-sdcc-exclusive/
  19. Do remember that most people have interpreted that "20 exclusives" statement to be a misunderstanding by the press that the giant sculptures are counted as "exclusives" in the sense that they are exclusive Lego models at the con. So it is not like there is some massive stash of exclusive sets and minifigures that have not been revealed to us yet (or, from what I have read it doesn't seem like it).
  20. 2 pages ago, cammo posted this. If you go to that site, scroll down to the comments to see the person who claimed to have seen it.
  21. I think he meant Beyond Gotham. Edit: I hadn't refreshed. Someone already answered.
  22. There isn't another set. There were only reported to be 3 for GOTG, so we now have pictures of all of the summer wave sets.
  23. I think he was talking about Rocket Raccoon's spaceship, the warbird, not the character. Hasbro had pictures of their model of it someone posted a few pages back, and so a lot of people were hoping the small set would be that ship.
  24. I think he was not referring to your joke, but to a rumor from a long time ago that the SDCC exclusive minifigs we get are from a scrapped line of designs for SH collectible minifigs.
  25. That image was from the Lego Marvel Video game. On the topic of Martian Manhunter, I actually think the fig looks great! Im not a diehard new 52 fan, but Im not a hater either. To me though, I think the fig looks a lot like the one in Lego Batman 2, and it makes sense that they would use this design for the minifig. Reference image:
