  1. Flammability. And we'll let you know... from the grave. Hmm.
  2. Well this is all well and good, but the review... Well let's see it was during letterman, so approx 12 - 1 am? :P We are actually nocturnal (well not really - we just stay up quite late playing guitar hero, and taking pictures of lego) but according to wikki that means were of the "eveningness" chronotype. Ahem yes - so Geoff seems to have a lot of knock off Lego, so if this interests the forum then perhaps we could play blocks against each other for superiority? But what (apart from cannons) is there in the pirate field to test? Yes we've established the importance of removing the aaarrrr - but what's an aaarrrr between particularly swash buckling friends? This IS a review about cannons, we were simply making it appropriate! Speaking of the review, and apart from Geoff's controversial spelling mistake - is white fang the only person with an opinion? *prod prod prod*
  3. Well I couldn't find an "official" lego necklace *taps foot*. Sure it's no where near lego standard - but the colors and parts are pretty close to a real minifig - except it's not walkable, and the color of the connection between legs and torso are wrong. I got it from an accessories store in adelaide.
  4. I had an idea for a mini fig. Pirate wenches. But instead of the slope that supposedly represents a skirt - a detailed skirt with walkable legs.
  5. Heh heh - you guys are insane (talking here to Dragon and his clan of personallities). Thanks! I'm enjoying myself - and starting to understand Geoff's little obsession.
  6. * I love that song. ** Weird. I just acquired that song the other day! That's the Moloko mix I believe. ...possably a pointless post, but it's a weird coincidence. As you were.
  7. No catfights involved, I am aware of his looks. I cary a stick to fend of singletts on a daily basis. You are right, I am only winning in the absence of gays. Um, who is sprinkles?! Is it me?!
  8. That set is so cool! I like the simplicity of the mini figs. My dad used to have space sets when he was younger. Must digg around my grandparents house and see if there is any still floating around hey?
  9. Baby catapult you say? Puts a basenet to shame! Top review by the way, lego drink bottles for the win!
  10. Great review! I want that set, mainly for patric and the spongebob with the bandage. BUT: Why does bob have full length pants? I thought he wore briefs?
  11. Camera restriction?! Pay all that money and you can't take one gorran picture?! Load of bull sh.. manure. Heh heh.
  12. Well I was accomodating for the non aussies! Anyway - yes the australia museum is at the top, and along the way is the story of how thw bridge was built. It might not have been $10 - but it did cost something. MUCH cheaper than the bridge its self, that's nearly $400 isn't it?
  13. Haha - no no it's all above the belt. In Sydney there's a big bridge. This bridge actually. For some rediculous amount of money you can scale the actual bridge - but for about $10 you can climb the side pilons. Don't underestimate it, they are about 8 stories high and it's all stairs. We also walked along the pavement along side the road on the bridge, and generally walked around all day prior to the photo. So I was pretty flustered and tired by the end of it. But still it was a lot of fun, Sydney is beautiful.
  14. AHAHA! This is gold. I voted for Geoff. Seemed like the right thing to do. I know, it's not the best pic of me - but I was pretty exhausted!
  15. PC: Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. DS: Sonic rush, adventure. And I can honustly say, it sucks. X-box: Lego Starwars 2 - HOORAH!!
  16. I'm pretty varied in the styles I like. But I kinda float between electro, dance, hiphop, jazz and funk. Can't stand country. It's not that i'm ignorant or cliche; but I suffered through the tamworth music festival - I think i've earned my right to cringe.
  17. Saw Kungfoo Panda the other night with Cptn PB. I thought it was funny, and I enjoyed it. Geoff, however, thought it wasn't worth watching. Something about it being a poorly thought up hybrid of naruto and tnmt (ninja turtles). It was a bit predictable, but it's a kiddy movie so that's expected. Has anyone else seen it?
  18. THAT is so cool. I love watching lego creation videos. Another good one is the Wii creation one... it's probably already posted however: .I like it, a lot. Good spot, hotshot (look i'm a poet).
  19. Aww! Everyone is so nice! As far as who ever is the uglier/better-looking half, judge for yourself. We had just finished scaling the side towers of the Sydney harbor bridge, and we were in a pub (which had the same name as my last name - coincidence? Not likely!). Behold, people at the finest: Not my best picture, and Geoff is a bit of a poser; but there you go. As far as other halfes liking lego; I guess my interest spawns from the fact I've been a tomboy most of my life. Gaming, internet (I admin my own forum) and my love for rollerblades. But lego is theraputic because you can concerntrate on one thing for a REALLY REALLY long time. Plus it's nice to do something together, and rather than fight the obsession - might as well enjoy it too. I had lego when I was smaller, and actually, I think liking lego could possibly be genetic. My mum has REALLY old city blocks (about 35 years old) that she REFUSES to let go of. Sentimental value through the roof aparently. Also - my dad had HEAPS of the old space lego, so maybe it's in the blood? We shall see.
  20. Hello everyone, i'm Kay. I have already introduced myself in the Girls, Stand Up thread, but I should do it here also (formallities and all). Incase it's not aparent, i'm Captain Peglegs better looking half . I have heard all about the shennanegins concearning Hinckley, Impereal Shadows and other mentionable members (who's name's i've forgotten) - and I wanted in! I fear i'm at risk of repeating myself, but since i'm here... I'm a singing teacher by trade, and i'm not fanaticle about lego - but I do enjoy having a play every now and again. I don't really have a favourite lego theme, but I like fabuland and space (<-- mainly because of a death star I saw on youtube). Oh and I like the BSB also. Not sure what else to post, but if you have any questions just ask away! Regards - Lady PB
