i'm a starting technic collector and i'm having a hard time choosing what to purchase from these three, as i can only choose one for now. i'm tempted to pick the 8258 first because it's already on its "rare" status, aside from i really like its look. however, it is too expensive already in my country. then i like the 8110 due to its complex build and as being the largest (piecewise) technic set up to date. and i also want the 9398 because it's RC and the new motors. it is also the cheapest among the three. so those are my dilemma. hope you can give some insights? thanks!

hello! i'm Barry and i live in the Philippines. i'm 25 years old, an architect and am just starting to collect lego technic. however, it really starts to frustrate me as lego is a bit scarced and insanely expensive in my country. currently i only have two sets: the 8070 and 8043. and i'm looking forward on collecting more! nice forum you have here, those technic collections made me drool.

being an architect, i agree to this statement. many of us are lego fans, whether technic or not. but i personally prefer lego technic and lego landmark scale models

i like Uwe Wabra's truck models, but i can't seem to hook myself to the 9397 model. the crane looks too flimsy, unlike what he did in 8258.
