Mafia School- The Cosplay Party: Day One - Blurred Lines
Cutcobra replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Even though I directed the question to Mencot (he still hasn't answered) you made it as if me questioning why you and him think Scaevola and Lord Duvors is similar to you defending Mencot the first hours of the game to the point of accusing of scum. Maybe you wouldn't seem so scummy if you hadn't accused anyone for pointless reasons (and trying to make it as if Xenophobic was "planting the seeds of the doubt"), but I'm still voting for you. And no, I would think you would be in a lockstep in the thread. In that you are quite right. By the way, if you were just twisting my words for the lolz then I don't find that quite town like. -

How the hell is wondering if he is telling the truth "scummy". After you pointed out the Explicitly Normal roles, no one said something like "PLEASE THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE ZERO PERCENT CHANCE OF MILLER" but I can still doubt if Mencot is actually a Miller. Really? I barely said something about Lord Duvors, he's not contributing to the town I agree on that, but there are still better options than him. And Scaevola, give me one reason why Scaevola seems scummy. It's not "having their back" it's questioning why you, and suddenly Mencot (who you were defending so much in the first hours of the day) seem to have suspicions on a turtle who barely talked, but atleast talked more than others, and a space girl who I still don't find anything scummy about. -

Let's get to business. Vote: jamesn (jamesn). Why? He's the on who's been acting the scummiest since the beginning. First he starts making baseless accusations about people being scum. Then he points out Scaveola and Lord Duvors for "not paying attention". Is that really any reason to vote for someone? He may be right about Goliath, but I believe the guy just did some newbie mistakes. And also, Xenophobic is kind of right. When he pointed out that you were accusing people on scum yo became rather quiet. Mencot, you seem to quite agree with jamesn on saying Scaveola and Lord Duvors are acting up (you also say me too, and I'd like it if you were to share the reason why). And, before this, jamesn was quite serious on defending your Miller claim, even to the point of accusing others (yes, I know I literally just said this). I wonder why he would trust you so much in the first day? -

It's not that, but because of the fact you were all "the guy who does this is totally scum" and "trying to confuse the town hmmmm?" (these aren't actual quotes but if anyone wants to see it's in the first 2 pages). Also "let's kill anyone who's not cute and furry!" but that might just be roleplay. -

You know, everytime someone says something suspicious about you you already start suspecting if they're scummy or not. I don't find that quite... town-like. By the way, I'm with Kintobor and the others. I want to know who those three people are. Oops, said it right after you commented it. Sorry! So Lind Whisperer, I don't know why you would suspect him. He didn't do anything scummy at all, the only thing he did was suspect about you. Then me, who also suspected about you. And then there's jamesn, who I don't know if he suspected something about you but I find him a little scummy too. -

Fine, it seems sarcasm cannot be used in a mafia game so I'll just rephrase what I said earlier in a non-sarcastic way. We can't let the day just play out if we don't start saying who we suspect of being scum and why. I believe that would lead to a pointless vote. I already know who I'm voting for and why anyways, unless he/she proves himself/herself to be town. -

I'd like someone to come together without someone else saying "Hey, why are you guys acting together? You must be scum!" and then having everyone confuse themselves. I'll save my 'acting together' for the next day when I know where my suspicions lay. Yes, let's wait and do nothing until we have to vote and we'll vote for someone with no actual reason, great idea. -

What does "being the most talkative" have to do with anything? How do you want us to find any scum if we don't point out our suspicions? By that logic, the possibilty of any of the roles in that list could be in a game. I'm not denying it, but I am seriously doubting having one in a simple Mafia School Game. -

It's still seems a little weird to ask the people if they want to make it a little more complicated by adding SK, some of them say it doesn't matter some them say they don't want complicated games (basically, no serial killer) and then put a Miller. It doesn't get anywhere without accusations, but it also doesn't get anywhere with pointless accusations. As in: Saying someone is scum because he doesn't agree with you. -

I'm pretty sure that the host also asked if Serial Killer was also too complex, which by the way is also on the Explicitly Normal list. He also gave this list about how loosely the roles would be: He could have changed it and added a role like Miller, as you said, but I still seriously doubt it. But still, you keep saying things like "not done their reading or are scum". Really? Just because I doubt there could be a Miller means I'm automatically scum? -

How is asking himself if the guy was telling the truth "sowing the seeds of doubt amongs the town"? Seriously, save your finger pointing for later and "voting for the least cute and fluffy" for later. -

I think I once got it as a toy for my kids so... STILL MORE CANON THAN MOVIE BATMAN. I think I agree with you here. The host clearly said if we didn't mind something like a serial killer in case it was too complex and he didn't even mention the Miller. Anyways, I still think I'll see how everyone responds before I start having some suspicions. -

There are a lot of people who haven't talked yet, we can't just decide who to vote for at the start of the game. The other two are clearly silly ones, yay for Arctic Batman! -

I'd rather vote for the person who acts the scummiest than the most annoying, but maybe that's just me. -

I've got popsicles, does that work? -
Heckz walks up to the questboard and takes special interest in the mistery quest. He signs up for Quest #116, bolding the title Super Sleuth while signing up. He then walks to his table again, looking bored and open for conversation.

Artic Batman here. I was going to say I'm Batman but it seems someone else said it so... I'm cold. -
I did miss it... and now it's time to reread that whole quest again...

I loved this quest! I liked the characters, the locations, the battles and the story (everything). I would have liked it more if the heroes decided to find out the truth about Baba, and if they would have gone to the Lost Forest (In the wiki it says an Archdemon is there). So yeah, awesome quest Sandy! :default:

I'd rather know experience the basics first than make my first game a complicated one, although I wouldn't mind if we have a serial killer. -

I'd very much like to play. I feel like it was about time I tried to play a Mafia game, it sounds fun. Gender doesn't matter to me. -
Do I have to sign up for Fields of Glory with a party or can I just sign up now and wait for the QM to make a party?

"Hmm this sounds interesting... even though I don't like the sea or anything in it... " Heckz signs up for Quest #114.

Heckz aproached the questboard happy to see a new quest. He was raising his quill until he read 'No Rogues' and he went back to his table sad and muttering curses. Most of them referring to the questgiver's level of beauty, even though he didn't even know how he looked like.

Heckz enters the Marketplace and immediately goes to Fabian's store. "Hi Fa-Boo! Mind if I do some selling?" He sells his Spellbound Gloves for 50 gold. He then goes to the and upgrades the Solemn Scythe 2 times and imbues an Amethyst into it. After that he buys a Nostrum. He leaves the Marketplace with 669 gold (934 + 50 - 110 - 120 - 50 - 35).
