  1. does anyone know anymore about this: quote lego.com : The competition is open until midnight, December 31, 2012. But hurry - - you need time to get enough votes to make the top 100 and be considered for the final! The top 100 designers will all get a winner model when it is released. anyone who is selected for the top 100 most voted will all get a winning model? regardless if your design not complies with the official rules?
  2. are you planning to make building instructions or some detailed photo's so we can build it? a time ago i was trying to build a Toyota FJ on that scale but it fails...
  3. i will give it a try! when i have time...
  4. nice! very small! i will link it on my site
  5. well i also have not received any letter... maybe it was a problem with the license. but that is not a problem that you can not make my LandRover you can find building instructions on my site. http://jaaptechnic.blogspot.com how about the top 100 voted? they all get a winning model? hopefully at least there will be something good
  6. sorry, currently i didn't have instructions to build your own dumper on my Scania 8x8. i did it with my 6x6 Scania but that was a year ago.., maybe when i have no inspiration in future i will make a dumper on my Scania 8x8 but first i have to made building instructions for my wrecker / tow-truck unit for my Scania 8x8 but it isn't that hard to build a dumper on my scania 8x8 chassis. if you replace the battery behind the cab you have room for your LA's or pneumatic cylinder maybe you need a longer cylinder like this : http://jaaptechnic.blogspot.nl/2012/05/pneumatic-cylinder-longer-version.html (need some time and patient)
  7. use a O frame because your differential easily slips without it. build a difflock like this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5425237 and ad a axle 3 connected on a axle 6 with a axle switch on it as shown in the movie above.
  8. guys, on my site jaaptechnic.blogspot.com you can see it is build on a 9398 chassis in the beginning of the competition it wasn't i have updatet the pictures on lego.com hopefully you will vote mine! thanks! here you can see it is on a 9398 chassis even it isn't top heavy same performance as the original 9398 crawler vote on it here: http://technic.us.lego.com/en-us/Creations/Details/Default.aspx?projectid=46fd5532-8d37-4f2c-a962-30930f181824&sort=latest&index=1 more info can be found here: http://jaaptechnic.blogspot.nl/2012/10/land-rover-defender-90-lego-challenge.html after is it viewed by the moderator the pictures on lego.com will be updated
  9. Yes, it is on TC2012. For a very long time, it haves more than 215 votes! You can find it here: http://jaaptechnic.blogspot.nl/2012/10/land-rover-defender-90-lego-challenge.html?m=1 Or http://technic.us.lego.com/en-us/Creations/Details/Default.aspx?projectid=46fd5532-8d37-4f2c-a962-30930f181824&sort=latest&index=1
  10. My landrover body was already finished. I just saw the competition on the inthernet and desided to build the 9398 chassis under it.
  11. yes, to make round shapes it is logical to use axle connectors...
  12. my Land Rover defender is absolutely not a copy of sheepo's Landrover. it was only inspiration for me to build a Landrover Defender i build it on a 9398 chassis as you can see on my website http://jaaptechnic.blogspot.nl/2012/10/land-rover-defender-90-lego-challenge.html no elements of sheepo's Landrover are copied to my landrover i build it 100% by my self
