  1. Hmmm I don't see the 1x4 Printed head light and grill brick here. I have 2 of them and I have never seen them on any sets...
  2. I really wish Lego sold these types of house building sets like Lego Windows and Doors! or Lego Roofs and walls! Its gona to be hard to find a good recent lego set with a nice big stock pile of roofs and windows.
  3. I thought since the Wacky Locomotive Building Challenge is almost to an end, I thought it to be a good idea to bring this back to life!
  4. It is almost time to vote on the wackiest locomotive you guys could build!
  5. That 3 studs of length did wonders! I can't wait to see the finished product.
  6. Hey guys I need help to scale the art deco streamlined locomotive in the first picture to a larger size. anyone got some ideas?
  7. I Was looking at the 4.5v Idea book and it looks amazing enginuity of Lego back in the day! But I belive Lego now has not achived the same level of enginuity compared to that time. So I was thinking that we should recreat some of the things from the 4.5v Idea book using Power functions! There are so many track side buildings, cranes, mines, airports, trains screaming to be built with today's Legos! There are pictures of the Santa Fe Super Chief in the Idea book! A few of my favorites is a Space-Streamlined locomotive and a few cool cargo depots. Here is the Great Idea book Link! http://www.peeron.com/cgi-bin/invcgis/scans/241-1?ct=1
  8. I envy you and your massive blue track, world record making collection! Will you be making your own Steam-Monorail?
  9. I was look at the rest of the Idea book and the monorail and I feel like Lego put more effort in designing set back then, then they do now.
  10. I asume you are talking about the monorail using th red wheels. I cannot tell because all I see are Cookies Must Be Enabled. I was planing to make another monorail but witha more modern design.
  11. There is a good veriant of the normal monorails using old 12v rails that allow for 4-8 wide you could try...
  12. Psssst! Build this! http://www.douglas-self.com/MUSEUM/LOCOLOCO/aigle/aigle.htm
  13. You still have a little over half a month to enter!
  14. Its a Worker Wagon I plan to prototype a design of the real coaches later I have nicknamed them Coachest on stilts. I just find it odd that they would have them so high up.
  15. Update: I finished the Worker Coach and added the picture of 4559 B-model.
  16. I could take HiRes Pictures of my set 111.
  17. Yea I lost the other helemt for that fig.
  18. Correct! Its odd how little people own the most important Lego Train set. Without 111 there wouldnt be the En or the He
  19. Hey! I was just about to post my first carraige. The worker wagon.
  20. My 8 year old nephew was at my home and this is what he built! An amazing Mun-Buggy! I think he did a great job and I know you guys would love is Mun-Buggy! Mun is the moon counterpart for a space simulation game called Kerbal Space Program
  21. I would if I understood how to use bricklink. And I have a lo of curves from the 2 sets of 111 I own. And I have started to work on passenger coaches and then are really funky design.
  22. I would make a layout if I could figure out ow to keep the stablizing pannels on the side of the rails for the curves. and I only have 4 blue straight rails.
  23. This is the Es. Co. Steam-Mono-Tram-Thing... This is highly based of of the Lisbon Tramway. (picture needed) It uses the 2 stablizer wheels to keep balanced on the monorail track. This locomotives runs he oddest wheel arrangement of 1-2-1. Here is the view of the unusual way it stays on the Mono-Tram-Rail-Thing... I tried also to base the locomotive on the very well designed B-model of the 9v cargo train set 4559.
