  1. I am back with another official model made in LDD. It's quite hard to find one that hasn't been done, so I apologise if this is a clone but it wasn't indexed at all. This set is an old one which I remember in my childhood. It was surprisingly tricky to rebuild in LDD and a lot of components are missing and required substitution as I mentioned below. 6094 - Guarded Treasury (Theme: Castle > Knights' Kingdom I) Image Errors: Jail door and frame should be the 1x6x7 and 2x6x7 versions, rather than the 1x4x6 counterparts I had to use. Wrong sword for the treasury, should be a silver greatsword rather than a katana. Missing prints on both the rounded and triangular shields. As well as the armour worn by both the knight and the crossbowman, some are substituted with LDD-friendly counterparts and others are left blank. Moved positions of the halberds because LDD didn't like the way they intersected with the blue roofing on the tower. File(s): LXF (Vanilla) - LDD 4.3.6
  2. Christmas has come early! 7907 - City Advent Calendar 2007 - Theme: City (Not all models are in the picture, but there are 24 in all.) [bricklink] [brickset] 7907 LXF (Unmodified Vanilla Model) 7907 LXF (Modified Model) Notes: 1. There is no correct printed torso for the train worker and airline worker minifigures. Modified Model: 1. Adds a Santa Claus minifigure.
  3. Thanks that does sum that up, I haven't used LDD in a truly proper fashion since 2007 when DesignByMe was still alive and kicking. I lament Lego deprecating the service especially when I reach the ultimate situation when I want to order a model I made in the designer as physical bricks. Apparently that's done with BOM.
  4. I managed to find those when I turned Extended on. Can you pick-a-brick with extended?
  5. EDIT: I tweaked everything, if something is wrong don't hesitate to notify me. Now that I am satisfied with this model I will continue with my Ferrari model. Alright then, I'll make some tweaks, it was my first set submitted so I was bound to mess up on something. I'll do some tweaks using the Extended mode.
  6. Hi all, I have been using LDD for a quite a while now and I don't understand the full deal between the standard and extended modes. I know that extended adds bricks, but does that mean pick-a-brick does not work with them? Inferno986return
  7. Great model, I personally own the Town Plan and it's definitely an accurate virtual remake. Maybe you could shift things around and use the red translucent plates to make the world "CINEMA" appear vertically.
  8. 2532 - Aircraft and Ground Crew - Theme: System (A very similar model also has the serial of 2718) [Brinklink] [Brickset] 2352 LXF (Unmodified Vanilla Model) 2352 LXF (Modified Model) Notes: 1. The minifigure faces/outfits are slightly different to the original (I tried to find the ones that looked closest to the original design). 2. The original rudder for the plane isn't in LDD so I used 2 different ones instead. 3. The sloped plane control panel brick isn't the same because it's missing from LDD. 4. I should have put the string inside the fuel truck, but that's tricky in LDD. 6. There are no stickers. Modified Model: 1. Uses light green tiles on the fueling truck (because originally I was working without the Extended set). 2. The aeroplane windows are actually semi-transparent, because I used window panels instead of opaque ones. Thanks to Calabar for helping me correct this entry and get it "Eurobrick Approved".
  9. Thanks for the replies, I guess I should look more thoroughly through the LDD. It would reduce my request list substantially! I will now use BrickLink to provide technical detail on the bricks I want. Here is another list: 1. I would love to see more printed blocks such as; padlock (1x1 flat tile), safe(2x2x2 box door) and the aeroplane control panel (2x2 sloped brick). 2. The 1x2 flat tile in metallic gold (and maybe silver too) so I can put gold ingots in a treasure room (we have diamonds, money and yet no gold!). 3. Since there is a Tommy Gun, I hope they add this pistol too. 4. Also I can't find the Competition Cannon. 5. Type 1 and Type 3 Shiny coins would be awesome too in these values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40. ------------------ I managed to find the 4211, but it wasn't available in the dark earth green colour. That's what I meant, I guess I should have been more coherent there. I found 2920 and all the other train related pieces, but still no magnets. Am I doing this wrong or are you using LDD Extended? I will have a relook for the segmented rope, what's its Design ID? Thanks for telling me what BOM does, that will be useful if I ever want to manually order a custom Lego set. I will definitely send a link to this thread to the official Lego company, also I will notify them about naughty counterfeit blocks which blatantly rip-off Lego.
  10. Hey all this is my first post here, but this is my missing part list for LDD: 1. Train magnets - I know someone already mentioned that one, but I would like to emphasise its importance. Especially since plenty of other train parts are included and it's pretty broken that you can't connect the carriages together yet you can design the rest of the train! 2. Plane rudder - There are quite a few but not the one used in this model: http://cache.lego.co...ons/4117864.pdf 3. Segmented rope - The rope used for the exterior fairy lights of the house in this set: http://cache.lego.co...ons/6015291.pdf 4. Moustache head - The yellow head with a moustache as shown in this set and many others: http://cache.lego.co...ons/4179189.pdf 5. Sunglasses head - The basic yellow head with a smiley face and black sunglasses: http://cache.lego.co...ons/4117864.pdf 6. Vehicle plate - The dark green vehicle plate used on the fueling truck here: http://cache.lego.co...ons/4117864.pdf All in all though I do think that LDD has REALLY come a long way since I last used it back in 2007-2008, it was merely a shadow back then. The program can only get better as more people use it. Though I do miss the ability to make a custom box and order your own set. Please Lego add that functionality back in amongst other things! Also I want to see prebuilt templates to work from (there was a house and a car amonst others) like we used to get in the old versions of LDD. I apologise for adding the technical part numbers for these, something I will do in the future! Can we send this thread to Lego?
