  1. Picked up 2 Gandalf's at TRU... but mine still doesn't have any Mirkwood Elf polybags.
  2. Finally got an MMV.... totally in love with this set. Just need to order another one before that discontinue them.
  3. Very nice, I love seeing castles that incorporate wood in with the stone work.
  4. Completely agree with everything posted here, this has got to be the easiest (although not cheapest) way to make a good and rather unique castle.
  5. I say open it, unless you are specifically collecting MISB sets.
  6. I've been known to buy multiple sets, but never really do it for resale value. I use extras to MOD (I suck at MOCing) the "official" sets.
  7. Very impressive. You can definately see what your inspiration was. I like that it looks like a ruin that a forest has grown up around and that instead of going with blue for the river you went with a mossy green color.
  8. I think I may have went a little overboard on S@H the other day. I ordered. 10193 MMV 10222 WV Post Office 10216 WV Bakery 10229 WV Cottage and the freebie 3300014 Holiday Set
  9. I'm really hoping these sets bring back the Forestmen and Black Falcon's factions. They were my 2 favorites when I was young.
  10. Very nice. As others mentioned, the stone work is fantastic. But I like how you incorporated wood into your design on the top of the towers and walls.
  11. Just absolutely amazing. I love the Kingdoms theme and this blends in perfectly with the official sets.
  12. Been visiting this place for quite some time, and made a few posts but I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm an AFOL, but I've been into Legos since I was a kid. I was always and still am into Castle (especially Forestmen), Pirates, Star Wars and Technic. I never really had a Lego dark age so to speak as I always picked up sets here and there. I would say my current focus is Castle with the Kingdoms sets of the last few years really becoming some of my favorites ever. At some point I hope to tackle some MOCs after being the ones that get posted here on a constant basis.
  13. I really like it, it definately looks like it could have come out in the late 80's. The Forestmen sets were my favorites as a kid and this one blends seamlessly with the "official" ones.
  14. Orc Forge, almost bought Weathertop too.
