  2. Thank you CopMike, Manatee A has landed in Australia!
  3. Thanks Withacee. For the little tree on the left I used BL part 47501, 'Vehicle fairing 1 x 2 stepped with two pins'.
  4. Here's a way I get to enjoy snow all year round. With a snow dome! LEGO Snow Globe by Brick Blue Wren, on Flickr
  5. I loved the original 10230 and your additions are fantastic! They capture the detail of the other modulars perfectly.
  6. I love the sense of organised chaos around the table - which is a common theme in many family homes at this time of year! The log cabin and icicles and tree are also great.
  7. I love the interior. This build looks like it would fit seamlessly with the rest of LEGO's WV sets.
  8. Breathtaking! The tonal use of tan and gold makes the viewer focus on the subtle vignettes held within. I really like how you've tastefully combined a number of Christmas symbols and icons.
  9. This is very well done. I love the beer glasses and barrels at the front, the tower roof and the interior floor detail. The colour of the brickwork is very tasteful.
  10. At this time of year this is what my ideal Christmas tree would look like. LEGO Christmas tree 2015 by Brick Blue Wren, on Flickr

  12. Whatever the judging outcome, I just want to say that I really enjoyed participating in this challenge. I generally build static structures (houses, sculptures) so trying to work out how to manipulate and decorate 'technic' parts was a totally new experience for me. I also enjoyed seeing what themes everyone came up with. Well done everyone.
  13. I want two of these sets so I can have enough reindeer and expand the workshop. I bought one in the VIP promotion (that was the limit per person) because I can't wait to build one! I will get the second set in October when I hope there will be a decent promotion in Australia.
  14. Lovely work. The uneven pavement and mixed plate (brick) and tile (roof) colours make it seem very realistic. I visited the UK recently and this reminds me of a 'first home buyer' terrace I saw - I can imagine a very steep spiral staircase inside your model!
