  1. Welcome!
  2. AARGH! The door does fit properly, it just decided to be a jerk for the photos :( As for the horizontal beams, I like them like that but it's interesting that you think otherwise.
  3. Ok, added the pics now, thanks for the name change :)
  4. What I meant was is there something for kids in the UK. I hope this doesn't sound bad but I'd rather help kids in my own country.
  5. Is there something like this in the UK? Because there should be!
  6. Oopps, sorry for posting this then :/ If you could make the title Medieval Cottage WIP that would be great, I'll edit the post as soon as I can!
  7. I like the idea for the sails, well done.
  8. So, here it is, my Medieval Cottage! As you can see, I need to order some stuff from BL to get it finished so I figured I'd ask if you guys thought there were any chandes that needed to be made? Anyways, onto the pics:) EDIT: The door does acctually fit perfectly, just the way it is attached means I accidentally knocked it back before the photos, sorry :( Front/side (sorry, this pic came out badly): Side: Back: So, thanks for looking and sorry for all the confusion about this thread :) -Chris
  9. You mean the archers?
  10. I'm just gonna use the torsos for my castle villagers :)
  11. He wouldn't have pictures, he doesn't even have an idea yet :? As for ideas, make Minas Tirith!
  12. Thanks, this feedback means a lot to me :)
  13. Wow, nice I especially like the mini city below it! And the staircase looks great. And the ships! And the rocks!! AND EVERYTHING!
  14. I just want the Hobbit one with the big tree in it to go with my forestmen.
  15. Wow. That's really good, I don't really like the new LOTR stuff, I much perfered when it was just castle but this is definitely an exception!
  16. Love it, very well done indeed!
  17. Yeah, I do like the blue-black theme but I always seem to have to be the 'good guy' and black wouldn't really fit that. I do really love the kingdoms torsos though, they can be used on just about anything.
  18. Would anyone be interested to see some more of these redone Black Falcons?
  19. Saw this at STEAM, it looks even better in person!
  20. Wow, looks really cool, I especially like the raised up effect!
  21. Well, what I was going for was the archers was poor farm workers called to fight in times of war, the far left archer is supposed to be one of those younger citizens, just old enough to be called up. As for the rest of them, the captain is a rich professional soldier and the swordsmen, still not full-time soldiers are the slightly richer members of society, shop-owners and bankers, that sort of thing, who still only fight when the kingdom is in need of a large army. I shall probably make some city guards when I get more torsos, they will be full-time soldiers, the sort that sit in towers and march along the walls. Hope that clears it up.
  22. Wow. Just wow. This is truly amazing, well done!
  23. Wow, that's brilliant, I love the details and the idea of upturned plates for walls!
  24. Thanks, the legs are from the much loved Collectible Minifig Elf.
  25. If you do try it, be sure to post it, I'd be interested to see your take on the idea! And I understand what you mean by 'look', I saw the new pieces (printed legs, etc.) and was worried that they might take away the simple good looks of the Black Falcons but for me (this is probably an opinion that varies between builders though) it really helps, they fit right in beside the modern lion knights now when, if you had them fighting each other or whatever before, they just looked weird and old.
