Somehow (I still can't believe my luck) I found a MISB 7888 Batman Joker's Ice Cream Surprise from my local Big W for AU$78 Absolutely stoked. Box is a little bit dented along one edge but I can live with that

Wow. Luck certainly was on my side tonight. Decided to do the ring of the three Targets near me as I was resigned to the fact I would be missing out on just about anything... Turned up at stop #1 (Glendale). Walked in and I found not one but FIVE Medieval Markets! Ended up picked up two of those, two Brickbeard's Bounty, all of the pirate sets (double of some of the cheaper ones) as well as some construction sets. All in all I am glad that this was the last of the sales, I have spent a lot more than I care to admit On a side note, I noticed that my Target had one of the big Mars Mission sets as well as heaps of the mail planes from last year on the shelves. Old warehouse stock?

Going to head to Target after baseball training tonight (no midnight openings near me :( ) Hopefully there's some stuff left, specifically after some pirates stuff. If not, I will have to try with a raincheck (although I do not like my chances)

I saw a couple of these at my local Kmart on Thursday night. They were all gone on Saturday though - I was actually surprised they lasted until the sale. If I didn't have it already I would've picked it up for full RRP on Wednesday.

That's pretty much right. Don't forget that Big W also have to transport those toys, store them and then transport them back to the store (heaps have gone clearance by Xmas) I agree with above how Kmart have the better set up this year. By ordering, they don't have excess stock (which has always been a problem), there aren't any crowds and it's bloody easy to layby and you know exactly what you are getting. I will have to remember to go in and layby the AT-OT...I just hope tax money comes in soon :P

There were a couple left at my local Big W after I got mine. Kmart got stung a couple of years ago with no deposit which is why they aren't doing it now (stung to the tune of ~$10 mil as they had unclaimed laybys and the toys were sold below cost). My Kmart was dead too. Walked straight up to put a layby on without a wait (unlike Big W where I didn't even bother waiting)

Argh! Shouldn't have gone to Kmart :P Picked up another hoard of stuff. Grabbed the rest of the farm stuff I missed at Big W, also got city corner, a bunch of $10-14 city sets. Vader's TIE, Shanghai Chase and the Clone Wars Assault Tank for Yoda. There was also four Death Stars sitting at the front counter when I went (~9ish). I was sure they would be the first to go...

Just got back from Big W Greenhills. Picked up quite a bit. 2 of those Falcons (last two) as well as the Y wing (still a couple left). They had a quite a bit of the clone wars stuff left as well as all the space police stuff. Didn't have the big farm set, but I picked up the combine harvester and the wind farm :)

AU$99.99 at S@H so judging by the cost of the new death star set I would say it would be US$89.99 or US$99.99

Wow. Gogo UCS Falcon. I wonder what the price would be though... I'll definitely be heading in on the Wednesday arvo to my local Kmart (I used to work there) and ask around what stuff they have, although from my past experiences there is a fair chance that the advertised stuff won't actually be delivered (or if it is it won't be displayed) on the day of the sale because they have so much crap. Either that or I will be there at 7am (I promised myself I never would be >.<) and try and pick up the Falcon and the AT-AT (and the Drawf Mine if it's there). If I miss out I might sweet talk my old manager to giving me a raincheck

My goal is to buy anything that looks good. I haven't seen any of the clone wars stuff yet, so I don't really have an attachment with it. Although I also have that with some of the EpIII things as I've only seen it once...

For Hamilton's drive through penalty he actually did pass Vettel. It would have been easy enough for him to give up the place and pass him on one of the next corners but that was his decision... For Hinki's grid penalty, from what I saw of it he was just sitting on the racing line and Webber had to go around him. Everyone else was on the right side of the track and Hinki was on the only car I saw doing in in/out lap on the left. Anyways, onto the race. Pretty straight forward last night. Great to see Piquet finally get some points (and pass Alonso on the last lap too!). Trulli had a great race, especially being able to hold of Hinke for most of the race. It's a bit odd to see Heidfeld all the way down where he was, but he could have just had a bad race. I think the reason Kimi didn't get black or black and orange flagged was because there was no one racing for position around him. If he was back with Trulli I'm sure something would have been done about it.

Even though that may be the case...I must...have...it...so...awesome...

I wonder how long it would take to put together all of those... I would hazard a guess of ~$2000 or so for my current collection. A bit of older 12V trains makes it a bit hard to judge...

I think Renault will come good soon. Piquet had a pretty good race in Canada (compared to the rest of the season) and may have scored points if it wasn't for his brakes and Alonso has just been unlucky.

Yes it is . It's DC's car from last year because I couldn't find any decent pics of Webbers #10 .

The 10 spot penalty will really shake things up. My bet is that Lewis was drive like a maniac (as he always does when he's behind) and either get a podium spot or take someone out while trying to overtake them.
