Hi all, I recently found the list of the official Star Wars cube dudes on Brickset (http://www.brickset.com/miscellaneous/cubeDudes/) and want to build some. I know they have a list of all the pieces at the end of the instructions there, but there is no piece numbers with those which would make looking for all the individual pieces pretty time consuming... Are there any lists out there which list not just the parts but also the part numbers for easy Bricklink searching?

Oh so tempting to drop a couple of hundred to pick up their architecture sets...

Hi all, to all those saying Kmart has sold out of things you can still put anything in the catalogue on an Xmas layby. Just take the catalogue to layby and they scan it in from that - the only catch is that you can't pick them up until October 1st. Also, the minifig plushies (the ones that are $20 at Myer atm) are $12 at Kmart on clearance if you can find them.

Just passing on some news from my girlfriend... Apparently Kmart has put all Toy Story 3 sets on clearance. She didn't seem to think there were big savings as of yet - but keep an eye out...

In regards to the minifigs I think Kmart/Big W/Target etc will keep them at the registers, otherwise there will be too much risk of theft. 20% off + 5% team member discount from the girlfriend = buying a box for me :)

I don't think Fire Brigade will be sold out. The other three modular buildings had a shelf life of 2 years so I don't see why this one would be any different.

I was looking to do a S@H order later on in the year (maybe April-May sometime) for Fire Brigade and the new Emporium plus a Toy Story set (plus probably other random sets), so if you wanted to wait until then I'm keen :P (just got an order for Imperial Flagship and Green Grocer so my coffers are a little empty right now...)

Cafe corner I would definitely get at that price. I would pass on the Taj Mahal personally though as I don't really think it will increase in price as much as the Cafe Corner due to the fact you could probably buy the pieces individually for around the same price...

Just got back from Kmart Waratah and they had lots of copies of last years modular house @ $99 on clearance as well as that big technic semi, also $99 on clearance. They also had the Agents chopper @ $70 on clearance. I noticed they still had a copy of the Death Star behind the service desk but it was still at its original price ($599 I think - can't really remember). Big W Jesmond had all the new Toy Story as well as the early Star Wars releases (same prices as in an earlier post).

A few years ago between uni years I had money burning in my pocket and not much to do. I'd recently gotten interested in Formula 1 and by chance stumbled upon 8674 being sold at some random site. I picked it up on a whim and had lots of fun building it. Not much happened for a while until I randomly walked past the Lego section at my local Kmart and picked up 7741 because it was cheap and looked cool. Fast forward to 2-3 weeks later and I picked up 6212 which got me 100% hooked. Been collecting the last two years again, focusing on the larger S@H exclusives and older town and space :)

Glad I impulse bought it on Friday, so hopefully I get it before then. That said, I also picked up Market Street which is on back order so I'm not too worried.

Braved the crowds at Westfield Kotara today and was sorely disappointed. Kmart just had the big Farm set and the City Corner one. TRU had plenty of Space Police but nothing else really. Sold out of Home Ones :( Target has pretty much nothing. Spotted maybe 10 total Lego boxes all up. DJs had half of what they had when they had the 25% off sale. The Carousel was still on sale ($90 off rather than the 25% off a few weeks ago) and there were maybe 3 on the shelves but that was about it. All in all, not happy. Can't wait until January...

I have been looking for it for a few weeks; even before the sale. Might have to do a S&H order. Do they ever have free shipping or something for Xmas?

Could've told you that. I worked there for 4.5 years :P Also, if you are looking for the expensive sets at Kmart (ie Death Star etc) ask someone if they have them upstairs. Was talking to some old work mates and they said that the manager for my old store just threw them all upstairs in one of the lockups and pretty much forgot about them.

I can't wait until kmart start cancelling old Xmas laybys. My girlfriend works in layby at my local so she has strict instructions to check for any sets on clearance ;)

Went into David Jones today and saw they had 25% off so picked up the Carousel for $300 :) I've still had no luck finding Emerald Express at Myer though...

Found two drop ships at my local Kmart tonight. For some reason they were back up to $150 so I gave em a miss. Will probably regret it, but I don't particularly like the model and they will probably be really hard to resell.

Went to my local Kmart and all they had on clearance was the Combine Harvester and the Indiana Jones Fighter Plane set (which I picked up). Was really hoping to get a Troll's Fortresses set :(

I saw 3 or 4 at my local Myer (Charlestown) last Thursday. They also had 3 Taj Mahal sets as well as old Exoforce.

Ugh, picked up the Temple of Doom set when I went in to pick up my July toy sale layby today (Tax money $$). Oh well, I like the look of the set so I don't really mind I paid an extra $25

Walked into my local Big W a couple of days ago and noticed they had all their Bionicle on clearance (at ~35% off for all sets), so if you are into that stuff then you might want to head in and have a look :)

Talk to the front desk and see if you can get it trucked over from another store. Failing that, ask if you can get a raincheck.
