yeah, i get the whole kind of erm...dirty thing when i paint helmets. but its all different once you take a pic, you can barely notice, same thing happened to my ARC troopers..wich i will soon post. (I hate having to catch up with the internet, i have to scan half my pics into my stupid computer!!!)

Thanks Guys, and yes i am going to cover 10 large baseplates with bricks, and i had thought about the whole phase1 phase2 thing, as i said this is a big summer long display project, ill be very happy to show it to you when its done. anywhoo, its down to Kashyyk or Felucia, im kind of thinking of felucia (it would also be a good excuse to make a good Aalya with Arealights head) on the other hand Kashyyk has some exellent oppertunities. ( by the way guys i know im new here but im not new to the brick, just internet forums , ill try to post some of my older stuff soon to give you guys an idea of how experianced i am.) ps: i diddint see that game vader, italy really lost? Just a side note: the Gray base plates will not be showing when its finished(it will be covered in layers of bricks and plates to make hills and foliage, not a single gray spot will be left), i just want to here some suggestions before i decide, so i can tell what bricks to order ( green, brown, tan, sand red). just doing some planning before i start.

Well, i Just kicked of a summer long project. An Extremly large Clone wars diorama (is it considerd a diorama if its on 10 gray base plates), its for a movie theater display for the on comming clone wars premire, i am currently waiting on 4 clone turbo tanks from bricklink, I Recently went to TRU and bought all the clone and droid battle packs , anyway, the big road block is the new agust sets, i have talked to a local toy store owner and he is going to let me resurve the sets and pick them up the fist day they are considered released ( in return i have to build him a store display), anywhoo, ive been colleting stuff and am waiting for you guys to give me a location in the Lego Starwars thread (so i can make some brick orders to cover the base plates and make some hills). as i said in the welcome thread i have been building for a LONG time so with the power of the internet and a camera i will post my displays an creations for all to see. Thanks, and head to this thread for suggestions on this project.

As far as location goes, what big Clone war scene would you guys like to see, as i said its going to be huge, on about ten of those large gray Baseplates ( i might bring it to a convention later on this year) anyway, whatever you guys would like to see. i am currently gathering clones and droids ( I bought out all the battle packs at a local TRU), anyway i am seeing this as a project that will take till the end of summer (someone at a local theater is interested and would like to see the final product for a diplay in said theater!), so i have been EBaying and Bricklinking to gather supplys, i currently have a couple of RGS's on hand and i am holding out for the new at-te's, turbo tanks are comming in the mail, and AT-APs are ready (3 I think), before i make Brick orders I need a specified location. so have fun suggesting events of the clone wars. Hello All, Well, we all know that august is comming soon, and i have slowly collected a large amount of funds for my next large project, a large Clone Wars based task force! i just want Your Guys opinion on what i should include! i really dont care to much about how much it costs as long as it is not rediculis (im not Going to go and spend a cars worth of money in one night ) anyway Im planning to make an extremly large layout so im just wondering what should be included, Everything from the Jedi to the amount of gunships on the battlefield can be suggested! thanks guys!

For the faces you might want to check out fine clonier if its in your price range you could order a whole bunch of face decals and apply them your self.

no, I just think that it will suffer the same fate, people will think its ugly and they wont buy it, even though they might miss out on a cool set.

I like it, But maby you could cut down the size of the pyramid top and replace it witha a tan Dish like this one bricklink

I still think that the Twilight Will suffer the same fate as the roge shadow, you know, looks like crap but once you finish building it you like it.

I like the whole "falcon Esque" thing. It could almost pass for the falcon (before Han and Lando Got there hands on it!) ive been thinking of building the outrider lately, Ill put it up when its done,I like the way you did the cockpit, Great Job!!
