I got a pin point oiler at Radio Shack that stated it would not harm plastic and I have used this for the last two years on my trains for plastic to plastic and metal to plastic lubrication with very good results. Bruce

Wow. Thank you so much for the nice comments. I am a member of BayLTC here in California and I tend to build stuff to put on our train layouts at the shows we do. Since interiors do not show in this context, I don't tend to do much. The roof is not removable. The four toys are in the windows, the floor is tiled, and the fireplace is the same as in the set. However it does not have the counter and cash register or the work bench upstairs. I am going to have to move the toy shop about three studs forward so the roof does not go outside the edge of the baseplate. (a rule for everything on the layout so they will all fit together) When I do that I will add a window and back door. Thanks again, Bruce

I have built a MOC of the 10199 Winter Toy Shop on a 32 by 32 baseplate using two of the sets and parts from my collection.
