I agree that the Batcave is a great set. It will be going away soon so it might be smart to get it (if you want a Robin without the Arkham City style and you don't have the Funhouse, set 6857, or a blue Batman, also in 6857, this set works). Besides, the Batboat set isn't very expensive and you'll probably be able to get it, but it you skip the Batcave, which is $70, you may not have a chance til maybe next year where it may be gone. Conclusion: Go with the Batcave. :)

I think, in my opinion, DC Universe is the better one. Since 2006, we've sort of been introduced to new pieces and more figure printing. That being said, it has more potential to make sets we never got or make figures we never got. While we don't have many newly made (no repeats) sets, as 6857 and 6862 are the only new ones, we have a few better looking figures, like Robin, Bruce Wayne, the Joker and Harley Quinn. And if it continues into 2014, which it should, we may get even newer sets and figures. I'm not saying the Batman theme was bad, I'm just saying DC Universe as more ability, as it's 2012, not 2006. So there are my thoughts.

Maybe they put the image for LB1 there because the LB2 cover was too complicated? :P Idk, but I hope it's for LB2...nobody really gives a brick for the first one.

Noticed a few differences from the game. Not very much to get worked up about yet. I just hope it's more than cutscenes. Maybe they just showed cutscenes because it was all they had together right now? :P Probably not.

As soon as I head we were getting a Batboat, I wanted it to be the video game one because that one is amazing. Here we are, October 19th and I am still happy about it! As I said before, I am glad it comes with an ice prison - all for under $20! Definitely a buy. The Spider Cycle looks cool, even though I only collect DC. I am going to get all the 2013 DC sets, especially Arkham! Love the DC subtheme and I hope they continue it into 2014. Maybe then we'll see Killer Croc.

60004’s dalmatian looks nice...is it new? I haven’t seen it before, so I am just wondering.

"Download Code Included"...huh? Sounds very awesome, and I hope it is for Batman 2. Maybe they didn’t use the Batman 2 image because the cover was too complicated compared to the other one...? I don’t know, but it would be nice if it was compatible with all systems (which I think it is)...and I hope it’s some decent characters, like TDKR Bane or Batman. Or the vehicles...the Bat or the Tumbler. I just noticed it said "LEGO Batman" right above the Download Code Included...I hope it works for Batman 2, because to me, the first one isn’t worth getting...and everyone likes the second one :P

DC Universe in 2012 has been great, and I especially love 6857... but in 2013, I have a few opinions about the sets.. (I don’t collect Marvel, for the most part). 10937 Batman: Arkham Asylum - I love this set. I can’t wait to get it; after seeing the designer video, I like the interchangeable tiles for the Joker and Scarecrow cells. One thing I don’t understand is why there is one for Poison Ivy. Other than that, I really enjoy it, and the set will probably be better in person than it is in photos (like all sets :P) 76001 The Bat Vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase - I like the figures of set, yes. But the Tumbler looks a little too small. Something that stood out to me instantly was the wheel coverings of the front two wheels of the Tumbler. The old one looked more realistic and had a lot of amazing detail...but here we have two little flaps. Amazing, eh? The Bat looks okay, and it has a few nice pieces, but I will get this set... Batman Vs. Mr. Freeze: Since I haven’t seen images yet, if there are any right now, I have no idea what to say. I hope that the Batboat is the one I am thinking of; the video game one. That would look great. I also hope there is an ice prison just like the 2006 Batcave did, and I can only imagine how Mr. Freeze’s vehicle is going to look like. I am still going to get this set, whether or not it sucks or not. I want to collect all the DC Universe sets, whether or not they appeal... I don’t really collect Marvel, and while I am probably not going to get it, I have a brief thought about the Daily Bugle... It looks nice, and I think it looks very appealing. Three stories...wow! A nice building, for that matter. The figures looks nice, and we get a JJJ, and also another Spider-Man. I will probably not get this, and I said before, but it looks nice and if I got it as a gift, I would probably keep it if I have all the DC sets...otherwise I would return it and stuff lol. So there are my thoughts! Hey, does anyone know what the image of LEGO Batman: The Video Game says on the Tumbler and Bat box? I want to know what it says; it looks important. :P

Oh for real, the new cowl in blue? Good thing I got 6858 and 6857 before the change. But I have a feeling when I get the Batcave it'll be the new one... Anyone have any pictures?

LEGO is stupid if they release Arkham in late January/middle of 2013. I'll have money waiting for it when it comes out but I can't wait for ever, especially 6 months (althought Super Heroes and City are sort of the only themes I buy currently). If it's released around Christmas or in early January, I (and many others) will be satisfied.

Arkham at that price is perfect. I thought the set titles would be similar to the 06-08 set titles (like "The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc and such) so I concluded this for DC Universe... The Batboat: Mr. Freeze's Escape £/$19.99- White Batman, Aquaman, Mr. Freeze (and hopes for an ice prison from the old Batcave) The Bat (if it's included with the Tumbler): Bane's Tumbler Chase £/$39.99 or 49.99- TDKR Batman, TDKR Bane, Commissioner Gordan Arkham Asylum £/$99.99- Jetpack Batman (Black suit), Robin (if there isn't a Penguin set), Guard (maybe 2?), Inmate Joker, Harleen Quinzel, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Penguin (if there isn't a Penguin set), and maybe some Penguins minions :D ? I hope they make an adjustment and release Arkham early.

So I assume, if there is one, Arkham isn't coming out immediately? That sucks.

Are these confirmed or rumors or ideas? I'd like to be ideas so that Arkham can sneak in with the Jan. releases.

First off, thanks for the welcomes everyone! Did you get a blue version of the 'new cowl' with your Batcave or the normal version? :P Hopefully when I buy Two Face Chase, it's the normal one (I really need the normal one). Thanks for the help! I'm surely not crazy for it either, (mainly because it doesn't fit which we all know) and it's sort of dumb that they *if they did* did that. Can't they just put the new one in Two Face and the old one in Batwing instead of changing them all? I could very well try Wal-Mart or some other stores around me like Meijer or Kroger, they've had them on the shelves since June. Target maybe as well. Good idea. I'll probably end up getting one from there. I'll probably end up getting it from Bricklink if the Two-Face Chase one doesn't come with it.

A few weeks ago I got 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City and apparently the cowl for Batman is the one from the jetski . I also heard that this happens with Two Face Chase, and I'm planning to get that soon, but I don't want another jetski cowl. Is there a reason why TLG changed the cowl? I wouldn't prefer having three of the same cowls, I'd like one of the old black ones. Anyone know how to get an old one?
