I think someone already mentioned this in passing: the golden figure appears to be what I have heard called a "living statue". I've seen them throughout Europe, most recently in Rome. They scare children.

Ok, got it. The important view: The conning tower side flips down to reveal a launching missle as well (can't waste space!).

I created this because 1) I like the hellicarrier and 2) trying to live simply, I try not to create massive sets any more, which these figures deserve. trying to figure out how to attach the "open" view - says file is to large, but it's less than 100 kb - I'll keep trying to figure it out
