  1. Hi!! thanx !! These coaches are even lower than the locomotives. I do not do interiors, because of the complex system of coupling and not have much weight to be able to move
  2. Hi everybody. Finaly i finish my first long trip passenger train :) with the participation of my friend Jay Fields, made a replica of a long-distance trains that connect Lisbon to Madrid, the "Tren Hotel Lusitania ' This train is usually pulled by some locomotives to the Portuguese border, which the Alsthom CP2600 which we have here or the Siemens CP5600 what's the head. This Siemens was created by my friend Jayfiels where they can see the instructions on his site in http://jayfields.freeserverhost.net/MOCplans/ is the first time show a locomotive that Portuguese is not orange: P the coaches are my Talgo version 4C, which are of Spanish origin at the end gives this nice train:) the photos were taken at an event held to Lug PLUG Portuguese, and nothing better than to make a nice layout background in the pictures:) the real stuf Video of real train: Video of lego version With Siemens CP 5600 With Alsthom CP2600 BS Folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=431159 Best Regards!!!

  13. Hello! Another MOC replica rolling stock of Portugal this time it is a special car, in reality there is only one, is used only for rental being added to another train which normally are inter cities glasses are very dark, I decided to use bricks to make them black, also was the best solution because the windows are 3 studs long. has the colors I like about Lego, dark red and dark blue. Hope you enjoy:) BS (With a sub folder with SNOT Secrets): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=383579 MOC Pages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/182828

  15. No, its realy like that The talgo are still lower and shorter than other cars or loco
  16. This was a beginning of the year very productive I finally finished a complete train This is the replica of the Spanish Talgo cars. This Moc is the night train from Lisbon to Madrid, the journey is made to the border with Portugal after a locomotive for an exchange of Renfe. They are coaches out of the ordinary are smaller, lower and united by a esto Boggie an axis between them This was the part that gave me joy to do, inspired by some of the Mocs James Mathis connection of coaches use a complex system in a straight line coaches are attached snugly, in curves (tested and running without problem) are separated giving a slightly off each other with space to bend, return to the line, unite again. How are short (22 studs) follow the lines and curves without "falling off" I think in relation to the angles of the curves are perfect. a whole are 6 carriages, trailed by CP2600 Brickshelf folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=418996 not the best Photos...

  21. Hello, My passion for trains has been since childhood, loved to ride a train after it discovered the Lego, but only dreamed of looking at the catalogs to see the 1991/92 Metroliner 4558, unfortunately at the time was expensive and there were shops that sold . Where was my set of dream. 2000 to 2008 was in Dark Age, I went to buy a Set which happened to be a bionicle (nothing to do, I know) and hence the passion back, even stopped smoking to buy Lego. I learned of the LDD and then started doing my first train, then I began to participate in forums of Lugs Portuguese and got my first set train (given by my girlfriend), small Creator 4837. After I bought the 2 RC trains, then the first order in Bricklink (Orange Parts for CP2600) on ebay and finally got the Metroliner "YEAH!" I started making my own station, all répilcas models in my country. not intend to buy official sets, but only because they have enough parts very useful, I bought the Hobby Train 10183, but when did the Emerald Night, and I also love and Buy it to "YEAH AGAIN!" now I am focused on making long-distance trains Portuguese to move the layout of some events in Portugal. I am a simple person who just likes to have fun building replicas of trains;) My BS Folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=317863
  22. If I had the arches, round tiles or Dish 2 x 2 Inverted, would have done better but as I said, this moc has been done with leftover parts. was not even originally scheduled BTW its a little long but runs perfectly check the video
  23. Thanx everybody
  24. Unfortunately not even be able to take a picture with the light on, sorry. When I started to buy parts in orange Bricklink, then still there was almost no sets in this color. But it seems that the Lego joke with me, when I had everything I needed began to launch several sets city in orange. 95% of the Portuguese Locos are orange... There is a privately owned freight trains called Takargo but "for evil of my sins" the Locos are Dark Red, another complicated color.
  25. Opss I cant edit now :( i think [ ] 3 [ ] 8 [ ] 3 [ ] becomes too disproportionate because the real windows do not have that much difference between them Here is a picture of the proportions of the locomotive [ ] 4 [ ] 6 [ ] 4 [ ] (As my MOC) which suggested the idea and I disagree with is this [ ] 3 [ ] 8 [ ] 3 [ ] The first and second windows are too close. To get just the ideal range would be [ ] 5 [ ] 8 [ ] 5 [ ] but this need to increase 2 studs on each side, 4 in all, had to change the base, sides and roof, was beyond that almost the length of my coaches that are 40 to 44 studs long and the real engine is smaller than the coaches
