  1. Thanks. Re S@H - they might be speedy, provided that they have things in stock Re doubting that anyone has that amount of cheezes, I don't see a problem in general - I myself have quite a few of them, just wrong colours This particular colour is currently a problem because it is new, but it's just a matter of time before the market is flooded with those as well. Re taking some time to arrive - the post within Europe usually doesn't take more than a few days, and often it is the case for post from overseas as well.
  2. The subject says it all. Our LUG is making a large MOC that will be displayed in a shop window for a year or so, and for one particular part of it I need about 100-150 medium blue cheeze slopes. The problem is that I can get them in a month or so, while I actually need them like yesterday So, if there is anyone I can borrow these from (new, used, doesn't matter), I would really appreciate it and I would send fresh new ones back as soon as I get them (or I could just pay for them, if the price is reasonable).
  3. Nice one! :) I somehow missed this topic... what was that about calling me a cheater! Anyhow, putting stickers represent most of the fun (not to say frustration) :)
  4. Yes, I was kind of aiming at Latin
  5. Well... since this is Eurobricks, why should American English suddenly be official?

    MOC: Landmarks

Yeah, it was an easy one to guess, wasn't it? I would've loved to be able to use the wand piece, but they never thought of making it in a normal colour...
  7. Here are two models I made, inspired by the LEGO Architecture series. (click on the picture(s) to get to the respective galleries) 1. Brandenburger Tor (Berlin) Original: 2. Moscow State University Original:
  8. Agreed! But... why are you putting his name between quotes? :)
  9. Aye! Nice game :)

    MOC: Curling

Well, it's kind of what the real Swedish curling team looks like :) As for the torsos, I engraved and painted them
  11. Wout managed to summarize it pretty correctly :) It is a sad story of intrigue, conspiracy, and murder in a small place in southern Denmark (a.k.a. Skærbæk)... but even though so many people died, it has a happy ending - I got myself a really good friend. (and, well, it's LEGO so it wasn't that hard to rebuild the orchestra... once the joint Croatian/Dutch/Italian forces managed to find all the pieces that ended up across the gym hall :))
  12. Guys, I think I know what the Scandinavian plan is. So, Swedish girls play against the Canadian ones at the same time as the Norwegian boys against Canadian ones, right? That way, the Canadian girls will be distracted by the Norwegian boys and Canadian boys by the Swedish girls. It's a very subtle, yet brilliant plan, which can't fail!

    MOC: Curling

Thank you all, glad that you liked it Now, let's all get ready to kick some Canadian a....stones tomorrow!
  15. Hey, I KNOW that guy! It's Rudy, one of the two murderers! Although he claims it was Alfred who threw the killer shot. (I also heard rumours that his real name was Rob a.k.a. legoloco)
  16. According to information I have, the minifig quality issue has been worked on for a while now (which includes scraping of a few hundred thousand of badly coloured parts). Haven't heard anything recently, so my guess would be that the quality control measures are working as they should, at least with respect to this issue.

    MOC: Curling

My small tribute to the sport that is too often misunderstood. Thanks to the EB's Pantless curling enthusiast for constructive discussions while building it :) Gallery: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/188315 Preview pic:
  18. Although what happened is indeed sad, I prefer looking at it as a nice challenge, that of rebuilding it. Heck, it is LEGO, and I'm sure you'll make it one day! CGH: Yes, as you also mentined, it's time for you to learn how to make building instructions! Won't help la Mort who's dead at the moment (pun intended, even though it's actually only seriously injured), but it might be useful for all the other beautiful models you've made (or will make).
  19. Thanks to everyone, and congratulations to all the others as well!
  20. Cheers guys ;) Enjoy'em!
  21. Irregularwebcomic has also had good ones for a while now: http://irregularwebcomic.net/cast/mythbusters.html
  22. Here is the official statement which we've just received. The new prices will be updated likley later today.
  23. My vote goes for nr.4! Never enough parties :)
  24. So, what is exactly the problem here? People do pay a lot for official LEGO sets even though they might make them cheaper. And original stuff is often worth more than just the price of the material, so if this is indeed her design, I think it's quite nice that she gets something out of it (especially since the auction started basically from 0). Or are you just jealous?
