I spent almost 3 months working on this project - the battle of Arausio! The Battle of Arausio took place on 6 October 105 BC, at a site near the town of Arausio, now Orange, Vaucluse, and the Rhône river, when two Roman armies, commanded by proconsul Quintus Servilius Caepio and consul Gnaeus Mallius Maximus, suffered a major defeat at the hands of the Cimbri and Teuton migratory tribes who were led by Boiorix and Teutobod respectively. Yes. But later. And even more later in time battle of Kursk was the biggest one. But on that day - May 12 1940, it was the biggest tank battle in history. about 600 from each side

So the biggest tank battle in human history... by this date. 12th of May 1940 - 600 german tanks met 600 french tanks at the battle of Hannut.
