It was stated at BrickCon '08 that there would not be elves in 2009. I think it was BrickCon? That doesn't mean there will be any in 2010, it just says none in 2009. A Dwarf Battlepack looks like a pretty good successor to this Orc battlepack now! Why would TLG want to spend money on a license (LoTR) and raise their prices (like Star Wars, just compare the magnet packs) when they have free reign to do whatever they want with one of their standard evergreen themes? Forget the license, just keep on doin' what they are doin'.

Because there was an entire tanker, which from what it sounds like, is full of diesel. I say we get that fuel to that other loco and see what happens. Maybe that would help you. Or is the Swiss loco not repairable? For transporting the tanker, lets not forget, my father owns a tractor, and it's pretty darn strong. All figs have been updated so far. I might have a possible lead on Holodoc's Fig, but if anyone has any input or decal skillz...I would appreciate it. Trying to get his face and an insignia for the chest. PM me if you have ideas, thanks!

Rumors abound....last I heard, LEGO will be selling some Pick-A-Brick at the event, but it won't be Friday or even Saturday morning. From what I heard, it's going to be Saturday afternoon, at 4:00pm! So not only will the hall still be filled with tons of people, but now in order for us to get a good shot at some PAB, we need to abandon our tables with hundreds of people still walking around in the hall. I guess we trade PAB for stolen minifigs now. To me, this doesn't make any sense. Commentary from a Brickworld coordinator would be greatly appreciated on this one, thanks!

Thanks Whitefang. you should have seen the pile of bodies...after I shot each picture, I just started a pile of figs, it was an amusing little minifig mountain. Too bad battery died. Still got a little time for anyone else, although might be tough to get anything through Cracklink in time, but then...I plan on doing this next year also!

As far as I know, in the states (LEGO stores, not LEGOLAND), the PAB wall works like this...There are 2 sizes of cups, small and large. Small cups are $7.99 and Large cups are $14.99 You fill up the cup, mix and match, with whatever you want from the PAB wall (not minifigure pieces). When you are done, put the lid on and take it to check out. You can stack bricks if you want and put wheels inside of tires; whatever you can do to save space, do it! When you are checking out, the associate will put a sticker on your PAB cup. As long as you bring back the cup with the sticker still atached and the lid on your next visit, you will get 25 cents of a small refill and 50 cents off of a large refill. That pretty much answer your question? Just remember to fill the cup, and then get the lid last. I have seen so many people carry both items, drop the lid, and then bend over to pick up the lid and.....SPLASH!!!!!!!! Brick all over the floor! You goin' to the new one at Kenwood? I know a few people there!
