Ideas for Future Indiana Jones Sets
Oswald the Rabbit replied to Flatfoot Thompsen's topic in LEGO Licensed
I am all for a Dunn and Duffy Circus Train. Have engine and coal car, giraffe car, magic caboose, lion car, rhino car, and reptile car, comes with young Indiana Jones, the train conductor and the grave robbers. New molded rhino, giraffe and lion as well. Also comes with some track for the train. -
I think a new set would be Hunting Party Ambush. It would come with the king, 2 horses, his huntsman, a new molded stag, a tree like the one in medieval village and 2 orcs one on a new molded boar that has a place for a minifig to ride. Would work well to adapt for zoo sets and forest.

I have two ideas for a city set but they are more like sub themes. The first is village circus. It could a tent include a large set with trapeze artists, clown troupe, ringmaster, circus elephant and trainer, and band. The smaller sets would be Strongman with barbells and stilt walker, a semi large set of lion tamer comes with tamer and new mold of several lion and and tigers. The second sub theme is city zoo. There would be zoo vet with animals. A large set with several cages and new molded animals such as lion, tiger, giraffe, hippopotamus, rhinos, zebra and a camel. Safari tour could be included too.

Oswald the Rabbit replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Theme Name: Animal Protectors Characters:Good: An Elite Squad sworn to Protect the safety of animals all over earth. Bad: Poachers and those that capture the animals for profit. And of course the animals which would be MOLDED!!! Conflict: Poachers have abducted animals all over the world for the mysterious collector. It is up to the good guys to save them and release them. Setting: All over the world, Asia, Africa, South America, North America, Australia...etc.Bac Backgroud info: The squad noticed animals missing over the globe and have sworn to return them to safety and take down the culprits. Animals could help out the people, Have cool poacher vehicles and sets to catch things. -
Personnally I would have preferred a molded duck chicken and rooster. Chickens could have been used for the new upcoming farm sets in the town.
-
Also I think the the brick built birds look so tacky. Why couldn't they have just molded some new animals that could have been used for years and years to come. Also I wish that the females torsos could be easily converted to flesh. Looks like I will have to bust out a paintbrush.

Two words for all you town lovers out ther: RENNAISSANCE FAIRE!!! You can feature this set into your town with out breaking the charm by making it a rennaissance festival right in your town square or park.

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Oswald the Rabbit replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I still say make more molded animals. I am so totally stoked about the cows that are coming out, but what about the other farm animals like pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits and chickens. I would prefer a designated chicken then one thrown together with spare parts. I would also like some molded wild animals for a zoo or circus subtheme or the Indiana Jones theme. Some camels, lions, hippos, girraffes, rhinos and a zebra would be awesome. Easy example for a zebra would be to paint the LEGO horse with some black stripes and lose the harness. -

TLG wants your ideas & suggestions for City themes
Oswald the Rabbit replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well they could make the Zoo theme more action packed letting the animals escape. For instance, have a charging rhino break thorugh a wall. Or have real world stuff like a launching tiger that can eat a little kid for throwing a shoe at it. Maybe a Safari set would be more instyle with the gun weilding rangers and poachers. -

A LEGO Zoo would be perfect and in minifig scale. Duplo did one so why not Lego. -
