New LDD Update! 3/26/13
Takanuinuva replied to CM4Sci's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'm not getting the update when I launch Ldd. I even redownloaded it from the site. Any ideas how to fix this? -
Dragon Bolt wasn't mutated either. When his brain was removed he retained the same look he had when he was controlled by a brain. Also I'm guessing the Hero Core locking clamps prevented mutation from the brains just not from there mind control
-
I made a mistake when posting the pics. The third pic was meant to be more parts and I've fixed that now.
-
I think we could use some more bone pieces These are what I had in mind I'll let the pictures do the talking http://www.brickshel...one_parts_1.png http://www.brickshel...one_parts_2.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/mc/new_bone_parts_4.png Also this part should be upgraded to the new style since it is very usefull. Its a socket joint but with the axle hole pointing up. It was used in most of the bionicle titan sets http://www.bricklink....asp?P=x1192px3

I wonder about the torso. Is it custom built cause if you used the small torso (Not the XT4 one) Then I can't see the normal leg connector ball joints)
-
I'm not sure I fully understand... are you suggesting that there should be a way to open LDD without opening any file, including a blank file? -Toa Of Justice I mean when you click on Ldd and it pulls up the loading screen. If you didn't mean to open Ldd you have to wait for the loading screen to finish. Then you have to pick a project or start a new project before you are able to click the X button to close the program

If the AAA box has a speed control. That would be better than using the Ir reciever.
-
Ok I've designed it so the train motor is in the engine and the battery box and IR reciever is in the coal car.
-
Thank you. But I've decided to not do it since it would make the engine to long since it would also have the ir reciver in it. Is it possible to run a train just using 88000 power functions AAA battery box. and 88002 power functions train motor. Would the train go when I turned the battery box on. I'm asking since I don't own these functions and I'm working on my train in Ldd. And how many studs tall is 88002 power functions train motor not counting the pin connector http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/LEGO-Power-Functions-Train-Motor-88002
-
How many studs tall is the Power functions Battery box. I want to hide it in my Lego train so it won't stick out. This is the battery box I'm talking about http://shop.lego.com...attery-Box-8878 Also is the rechargable battery box the same size as the AAA battery box

Does anyone else notice that Furno seems to have a new voice actor. He sound different than in Breakout

LDD 4.3.6 is out
Takanuinuva replied to Tontus's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Thats the Brain piece from the Hero Factory Brain Attack line Edit has Ultrabuild Captian America's Shield been added. I've looked through but have not found it. Also the Breakout knee armor still hasn't been added even though a lot of sets use it. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=98592 -
I suck at drawing but I wanted to represent my Fakemon idea in some form so I built it out of bionicle pieces. A few pieces are customize for this creation so It isn't a purist creation. Also this version uses blue friction pins. I've since then replaced them with black friction pins. Anyways here the link to the gallery since its public. http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=422836 And here is The bio link for my Fakemon http://browse.devian...3?_sid=4a368794

I like Frost Beast a lot as well. There is only one thing I dislike about him and that is his name. All of the other Brain Attack villians have interesting names but Frost Beast just seems to generic. I'm going to be calling him Chillax instead. It sounds cooler and still fits the ice theme of the villian.

I can guide you to this guy's majhost account who made a bunch of custom weapons. (Note these are not mine) http://www.majhost.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=211686

I dunno surge's MTIS is right up against his back. I don't think there is room for a T beam in there.
-
On subject of another hero. It appears that the MTIS attached to Surge's back is set one pin lower that where it could normally attach. Does that bode a new torso design or did the ones who build it just glue it in place.
-
HF parts recolours you would like to see.

Takanuinuva replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I think it might be a similar build to Furno Xl's torso. I can sort of see glatorian necks near the shoulders -
For me when it comes to skeleton colors for certain heroes. I would have it like this Furno- Black bones Stormer- Dark Bley bones Surge- Light Bley bones Breez- Black bones Stringer- Dark Bley Bones Bulk- Black bones Nex- Light Bley Bones Evo- Dark Bley Bones Rocka- Light Bley Bones

Hey how many studs tall is 88002 power functions train motor. I may have built my drive wheels too tall. Ok I've made another change to the train engine design. The front wheels now rotate like the one on the emerald night. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/NightmareXpress/nightmare_xpress_engine_1.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/NightmareXpress/nightmare_xpress_engine_2.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/NightmareXpress/nightmare_xpress_engine_3.png The gallery also now has an Lxf file for the entire train. Its placed on track and all of them line up with each other.
-
So I should design the front wheels like how they are on the emerald night then?
