  1. I got the same issue, The top part of bricklink wont load . The part that lets you acces you account. Feel it has nothing to do with the lego bricklink account merge
  2. Thank you all for answering my question, in the end it seems my opinion is not so onpopulair as i thought. Seems most of us feel like, better a Minas Tirith then no Minas Tirith, but if we had a say in it most of us rather have multiple sets all depicting popular scènes around the city with the appropriate minifigures to go along them.
  3. Maybe un unpopular opinion and question at the same time but what makes you all so enthousiast about Minas Tirith? I understand its importance in the books and the movie adaptation but to me its just nothing more then a few white walls and terraces. There are some important places in the white city but i don't think they will be done justice in a build by Lego of the city. Not even if you throw 800 - 1000 euro against it. The siege of the gate with Grond or the stewards throne room and the attempt to burn Faramir, The houses of healing or the lighting of the beacons all need a lot of bricks to do the scene justice. And most popular scenes are more about what takes place outside the city. Also lurking this topic for the last few years, to me it looks like discussing the hope for Minas Tirith always ends up in wish lists for the figures which are mostly based of the battle between Eowyn and the Witch-King, The Easterlings and Haradhrim including a mumakil vs Rohan Horseman, The Siege of the gate with Grond, And The Faramir, Denethor Pippin Scene. And the hope for Gondorian soldiers / guards because the are lacking from the first few waves with sets. Its never about the "beauty" of the white city, which i get because i feel all these little scenes are way more exciting then the Minas Tirith as a build. I would even prefer Edoras or a Helms Deep remake and i do own all sets of the Lord of the rings and the Hobbit excluding the special figures that where given away at special events so Helms deep is already owned and i would still prefer that one because it will probably look nicer then Minas Tirith So basically, why are you happy about the Minas Tirith rumor.
  4. Genius, should be made into an official set. Would be a day one purchase for me.
  5. Lego should make an crossover set for Ninjago City and the Regular Modular sets so they could be connected. This could be done with a building but also with something like a small park on a 32x32.
  6. Hi there, Following the discussions and wishlists on the last 10 pages of this topic i noticed that most wishes are related to the minifigures: Gondorian soldiers, Witch-King, Some armoured elves, Eowyn, Faramir Gothmog, orcs etc. etc. Not sure if it has been mentioned before: Would it not be cost effectiv for TLC if they just made a minifigures run ( Like the Simpsons ? ) I think most of us would buy a box I know the sets generate the most for TLC but since the stopped making sets this seems to be the next best thing to fulfill the wishes of the AFOL middle earth fans .
  7. @reviewer : Great review, well done on the pictures and their detail. @CallMePie: One of the best castles but in my opinion the classic yellow castle is still the best. So many bricks, figures and baseplates, it kept me busy for many months.
