Nice box art, it looks great! This is really getting me pumped for the Hobbit sets now.

Great MOC! My favorite part is obviously the dragon, but those wings are one of the best parts of him!

Thank you all for the kind words! I haven't really considered another color, but I do agree that the yellow looks a little off. Darth Sidious' lightsaber is a little darker gold, maybe I could try those colors on his if I ever do it. Perhaps that'll make the color scheme look a little better. And thanks for the suggestion!

Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Sign Up Thread

Sent my PM now. You know, it may have been good that this was postponed because I think I just joined Eurobricks when you had to close sign ups off. -
Community Build: SW Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

My entry I'm not sure if I'll do another one or not but I've still got this for now. -
Hello there! I'd like to share with you all today my entry to the ROTS community build. Now, I want to start off by saying that I'm not the best MOCer, but I still tried to do well for this. These lightsabers are built to be the same size as their actual counterparts. Also, since they're built with official pieces, I had to use yellow for gold on some of these. Enjoy! All five of the lightsabers. Obi-Wan's lightsaber. Mace Windu's lightsaber. Saesee Tiin's lightsaber. Kit Fisto's lightsaber. Yoda's lightsaber. So tell me what you think of these. Any comments and feedback would be widely appreciated. Thanks for your time and thanks for this community build!

Wow, this is fantastic! Using that piece that goes in front of a train as Vader's mouth piece was genius! Great job.

It's gotta be an Utapau MOC. Can't wait to see it though, it looks great so far!
-
The figure looks okay, but I don't think this theme will convince me enough to buy any sets from it.
-
I love this! The map, Bag End, everything! It all looks great and I spotted some great building techniques too, like the bucket handles used as chair legs. And I love the map at the beginning, it almost makes me want to see someone make an entire Lego map of middle-earth.

I think he looks great! I can't wait until we get to see all the dwarves together.

As everyone has said, 2013 sort of makes up for the number of Clone Wars sets we got in 2012. Even if you don't like any Clone Wars sets you can still catch up on the prequel and original trilogy sets from 2012, because they made quite a few of those.

This theme sounds cool, but I'll probably only buy 1 set just to get the animal figures. But the concept is cool and I'm guessing it will become as popular as Ninjago is now.
-
Thanks for the info! Sounds interesting, and it would be cool to have another Johnny Depp minifig but I think I'll have to pass on the whole theme as there's too many other themes I want to buy.
-
This looks great! It's definitely bigger than all of the mini venators so this sort of stands as its own. Nice job.
-
Well this sounds pretty cool. But I guess it was only a matter of time before a space theme replaced Alien Conquest anyway. I'll be looking forward to more info in the future!

I just bought Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian fighter and the Bespin Planet set. Pre Vizsla's an amazing figure and the set itself is much bigger than I thought it would be. The Bespin set is nice too and it's my first planet of series 2.

What a great idea for a MOC. I never would have thought of doing something like this and the comic style of it really adds to the presentation. Great job!

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
DarthPotato replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
That all sounds about right except for the Penguin set. I'm pretty sure he's not getting his own set so he'll be part of Arkham Asylum. And welcome to Eurobricks. -
It has the same amount of figs as the Tie Fighter from the last winter wave and the Tie was that much, so that makes sense. It shouldn't be anymore than $60 anyway because that's the price of the Rancor Pit, which is supposed to be the biggest set of the wave.

TLG has been more and more sneaky with the pictures of their unreleased sets lately. But like I said earlier, I think just a little patience is required and they'll come soon enough.
-
This is beautiful! I think I like the spirals the most. But what I really love is how you did it Architecture style, so kudos to you for that!
-
This looks great! I love the idea of a crossover between a Mandalorian starfighter and a B-Wing. And I can't build ships well so I admire people that can.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
DarthPotato replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I finally had the chance to buy some figures from series 8! I only got Santa for now, but I'll be back later to get the vampire bat and possibly others. -

That's... incredibly massive. It looks great so far and I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing finished!
