  1. Dark purple is available with the other colors now, so no need to get the CC fig just for it.
  2. Seymour Papert is rolling in his grave. RIP Mindstorms.
  3. The PC figs usually have straight lines on the top of the hips vs. rounded ends, and the numbers are formatted differently:
  4. If we get a SDCC exclusive fig from DC I want it to be Black Adam, makes the most sense given we don't have a fig for him.
  5. If there is a SDCC exclusive fig I'm hoping for Ms. Marvel or Moon Knight.
  6. I'm going to assume exclusive con figs (whether they be DC or Marvel, or any other brand) are done since we didn't get any last year.
  7. There are still listings on BL for some of these. Guess they haven't searched hard enough. I suspect all the non official/custom chrome listings should be removed also. Still, where is the official LEGO statement? I know BL is now owned by them, but LEGO is still silent AFAIK.
  8. I also realized that when I sorted it away. I'm wondering if there is a difference in the light blue depending on year/time frame of production like there is with medium blue.
  9. Got mine today. Further down the rabbit hole we go 😅
  10. I'll say it in here also: seems this is the first year without a comic con fig release for Marvel & DC. If there isn't anything next week for Fandome, then I don't expect anything for the mini SDCC in November.
  11. No con fig announcement for Fandome still? Seems this will be the first year without a DC & Marvel CC fig.
  12. I already told him we're missing the coral legs, yellowish green hips and chrome red hands lol.
  13. Need David to get the medium blue and medium bluish green in stock again so I can order. Don't wanna bother him since his daughter was just born.
  14. Full Bright Light Yellow fig available from Minifigure Dreams on eBay. Going to just wait on the head for myself.
  15. The turquoise will start popping up soon enough most likely. As for those trans blues, the middle two are medium blue and "lake" blue, or officially medium bluish green from what I've been told (color 228 I think). I Should be purchasing them in 2 weeks or so.
  16. Still no word on "comic con" or whatever Marvel does this year exclusives?
  17. Spider-Man sets are meh but the minifigs are great. I'm more excited about the Peggy What If set having a trans light blue square head piece So long overpriced charged creepers for a monofig part.
  18. Have there been any rumors of what this year's SDCC/Fandome minifig release is? Since there is no SDCC actually happening in person I wonder if there will be a separate Fandome contest again for whatever they are planning, if anything.
  19. Have there been any rumors of what this year's SDCC minifig release is? I assume with no SDCC actually happening in person that Marvel and DC will have separate contests again for whatever they are planning, if anything.
  20. Won a Paul Frank Julius Keychain (perfect condition) for $20 a few months ago in an auction for 3 keychains, seller didn't know what they had...nor did anyone else as I was the only bid
  21. Looking forward to the GitD fig, but not for the agony of not having hands for it!
  22. I don't think it solidifies anything to be honest. First, these designer's definition of "fake" might just be something that isn't approved by them yet is still made within their walls. Outright fake would mean being produced by a 3rd party, and even though we have seen bootleg 2x4 bricks that are nearly identical recently, I have to consider further info. The 2x4 mold is a rather simple one to copy, but minifig pieces? Scale wise some of the details (internal stamps more so) are just too precise to be reverse cast and made a mold of IMO, and there are several number stamps used on the hips and legs alone. That means that several copy molds would need to be produced...though I do suppose taking the time to 3D model the pieces, print them and then cast them would be the process to follow. Looking at the images I took for the analysis, the tiny differences here and there for the ABS figs shows inconsistency, so it doesn't seem to me if they were bootlegged that it was done by the same source. Also interesting that they were released as pairs, and the 2nd set (bright green and orange) have the biggest glaring inconsistency with the hip number stamps being rotated 90 degrees. If someone bootlegged this then that is quite a big mistake, which hasn't appeared since, but at the same time I have never seen an official Lego hip with this detail...so it might be safer to assume it was a bootlegger mistake. Still, actual Lego hips and legs have varied in their stamp detailing/scale over the past years, so I can't for sure say that using that as an identifier is accurate. If they were made internally as "nightshift" someone might have access to these different versions (though I would assume molds are retired and/or locked away after not in use anymore). Also seeing the Lego stamp on the neck being rotated 180 degrees in comparison to the internal chest stamps between the PC and ABS is another inconsistency, but it is possible newer molds for solid parts did actually switch the position I suppose. I've never cracked open a normal torso to see if these stamps exist within regular figs, so I can't be certain. To be honest, I can't draw conclusive evidence due to too many variables along the Lego production time frame to say whether the ABS figs are fake, and if they are they are damn good. Still, I won't believe anything until word comes officially from Lego themselves, not some designers.
  23. I always counted the sh231 fig as the mark 3, but oh well.
