Hi all The mens Marathon have just bin run, and some very sad happend. An Idiot ruiend it all. Brazilian Vanderlei Lima had bin ahead alone for over 10 km, when someone dressed in some kind of uniform, forced Lima to the side of the road, where only help of other spectators Lima escaped. At this time no one knows who the idiot is. Im sorry to use name calling. But this idiot really is an idiot. An man was ahead of a race he always dreamed of winning (Lima), only to see it go away. Good thing that Lima did win Bronze...... I also feel bad for Italian Stefano Baldini who won the run, his victory will always be in the shadow of this.... American Mebrahtom Keflezighi wun silver... When there is updates on this, I will post it....

Australia was in fourth place at the 500 metre mark, but steadily moved into second place to repeat their Sydney 2000 Olympic Games performance with a silver medal, timing 6:02.79. Justin Gatlin (USA) won the Olympic 100m title, taking gold with a personal best and this year's world leading time of 9.85. In the closest 100m finish in Olympic history, Gatlin was just one one-hundredth of a second ahead of Portugal's Francis Obikwelu. Defending champion, Maurice Greene (USA) finished third. He won gold four years ago in Sydney . Great run, great winner :)

Mizuki Noguchi (Japan) won the marathon ahead of Catherine Ndereba (KEN) and Deena Kastor (USA) The course was by many ruled to be the tuffest course ever. And it startet where the first run was run... In Marathon Of Cause ;)

Greek Athanasia Tsoumeleka today made an big suprise and won ahead of Olimpiada Ivanova, and Janr Saville. 4 years ago Saville lost the gold in the Sydney Stadium, wich was shown all over the world. But now she is happy :)

Kelly Holmes beat Hasna Benhassi and Jolanda Ceplak for Olympic gold today. The favorit Maria Mutola was only 4th. Its was an great run, congratulation Holmes :)
