  1. My build of a monster Willys Jeep. Body addapted from Atrx's Wiilys Jeep, thank's. Chassis addapted from an LDD file posted on the Forum for the 9398 build, thank you, when I find who posted it I will credit you thank you. some pins missing, and the front wheels are too far forward. The chassis canot be shortend, I suppose the rear load bed could be extended and the body moved forward. I have built this, and in LDD. The LDD file size is to big to post. If any interest is shown I could forward this to someone who can post it to the Forum. Thank you to P4trickvH for the original 9398 LXF file.
  2. Hi zblj This is looking good for a robot arm wrist joint, the 8 tooth pinion even fitted first time in LDD. I hope you do not mind I have added a possible up, down to the wrist. No linkage yet to opperate. Wrist.lxf
  3. Futher to my last post I have improved the throttle response by changing the gearing. attached It should be possible to remove the click stops on the 8879 controller that would make it even better to use with the 9398. Looking forward to others with 8879 controllers ideas. 8879 Contrl-Full-Range.lxf
  4. Hi David I use the 8879 controller it is far better than the two stick remote. This is mine, LDD file attached. Be interesting to see other versions of this controller. 8879 Contrl-GreyV1.lxf
  5. Hi D I have built mine replacing all the Red chassis parts with Grey or Black, it looks far better and changed any Orange parts for Black.
  6. Hi I got one on Saturday morning from Argos and a £10 off voucher, it apears they have been allocated just one 9398 and one helicopter per store at the moment. I like the new battery box it has an improved switch, better click on/off. The new servo motor is brilliant and works realy well with the 8879 controller I have made with throttle and steering. 8879 ControllerFinal.lxf
