  1. I agree, those peppers look awesome! I also like the Viking helmet with the flames. Nice job :-D
  2. [off topic] What are the AVATAR Lego? :o Another new line. Discussion over here.
  3. I think it is. Take a look at the Midgard Serpent, it also appears to be black, but it is the same color as the dragon in reality. Also, the wings are red/green, the only way to change the color on those is by applying a sticker or paint. I must say though, a black and red Fafnir dragon would be nice ;)
  4. Whoa, I hadn't noticed that *wacko* That makes my reply pretty useless I guess...sorry :) You should not be sorry, your not the one who brought it back up. ;) I know, it just didn't feel quite right... Knowing it's not my topic and all, could a mod close this if they too consider it to be as pointless now as I do? :)
  5. Exo Force? :P
  6. Heh, sorry about sounding a bit harsh ;)
  7. Heh, I have a closet with 6 shelves; 4 of those are used to display my SW Lego and 1 to store the 'rest' of my Lego. I basically display my SW stuff by putting it on the shelves. Nothing special.
  8. All 4 first wave X-pods (got them pretty cheap, less then 2 euros), and that's all. For some weird reason, wave 2 never made it to Europe. I'll definitely get the new ones though.
  9. My parents tried to forbid me to buy Lego when I was around 14 or 15. I actually hade a small stock of money (they would notice if I would make a large withdrawal, so I kept on resupllying it by adding 30% of a withdrawal too it. They would check my bank account, but they never noticed. After two or three years they accepted that it was a hobby for me. They believed me when I said it was a collection and no longer a toy. Which isn't really true anymore, I've gotten into MOCing since... Nowadays, they're very supportive in it, they don't buy me sets anymore, but my dad does drive me to the Lego stores in Cologne and Oberhausen, which is a 1-hour drive. I remember when I bought the Sandcrawler, my mom said that my dad told her that he "thought it was a waste of money, but rather saw me spending it on Lego then on drugs" (Don't go thinking I do drugs, never did, never will) So, the moral of the story: wait a couple of years, slowly try to convince your parents, and they might agree eventually. I'm sure they will :) And too bad you're leaving *wacko*
  10. Maybe this one? It isn't really a tower and it has a sword though... That's really all I could find when looking for sets which had the Bat helm from Fright Knights and the helm from KK1...
  11. Wow snefroe, those are awfully nice! Now I just have to try and create an "X-pod spaceship" myself :P But first I have to pick up the new X-pods since all the old ones are used for part storage (they're really useful for that too, you know...)
  12. It's online over here.
  13. I'd suggest you just use the colors you have most of, or you'll end up spending a fortune on Bricklink...
  14. That's probably just the site the images are hosted from...it has chronic and frequent server outage issues :P Why don't you just use Brickshelf then?
  15. I like that idea, most videogames don't allow for more then 1 or 2 good sets. Then again, that would likely cost TLC a lot of licensing money. So I don't think it's too realistic, unfortunately.
  16. Whoa, I hadn't noticed that *wacko* That makes my reply pretty useless I guess...sorry :)
  17. I ocassionally visit www.zemi.net (Jon Palmer's site, but it's dead, basically) and Golden Sphleem (nice little Lego Blog)
  18. Old, but still very cool. Escher's great, and the construction is too :-D
  19. I don't see any pics. Anyone else have the same problem or is IE acting weird again?
  20. I think so, too. Maybe someone here lives near this TRU, and then he/she can verify it? Sets don't get released half a year before they're supposed too. I was surprised to see the Airport Fire Truck 1.5 months early. But I think dark1 is lying. Sounds too good to be true.
  21. Heh, now the train fanboys finally feel the pain thw SW fanboys felt a couple of years ago :P
  22. I was wondering about that too... But I checked and I don't think it says anywhere that you have to be 13. Actually, I think EB should change that because well *cough, generalisation, cough* most kids under the age of 13 are, well, annoying. That's just my opinion, don't go hating me for it. If you fell offended, then you have my apologies.
