  1. Nice review! I've had this for quite a while now, and the Jedi Starfighter is my favorite EP.III craft. The vulture droid is a slightly modified Droid fighter with a paint job...so, nothing special. Damn, I want Obi-Wans red JSF :-P
  2. Lord Vader, I have found the one known as Patrick. I caught him asleep and captured him with ease. Where do you want me to take him?
  3. Get used to it. This is Eurobricks, after all ;-)
  4. That's three words :-P But yeah, it's pretty neat indeed. I've seen better SHIPs though.
  5. I second that. The shield is pretty nice too.
  6. I like it. Nice fusion of technic and system!
  7. In a shameless act of double-posting, I give you Mk. III: Final version...I've had it with this ship. I'll break it down sometime next week and build something new, likely using the same color scheme. Not much changes for this version: I've changed the front to a curved one again, while keeping the building technique used for the second version. I've also added some (very simple) landing gear. Expect a new MOC within a week ;-) Oh, and there's more pictures in my BS when moderated. Link in sig.
  8. Got my BL order. Placed three more ;-)
  9. Leia doesn't have facial hair :-P
  10. And that's why I dislike ebay...
  11. Heh, this reminds me of this guy who bought RotS on DVD in Chinese. That had tons of translation errors...so damn funny :-D
  12. I've seen it in several shops already...
  13. That one is about storing sets, not pieces ;-) Anyway, I always used to sort by color. A couple of weeks ago I started sorting by piece. I still have the 3 colors I have most of (red, white, black) to sort by piece. Plus, I don't have enough storage cabinets. I bought 3 (20 euro each :-/), but I need at least 3 or 4 more... However, I can now find pieces very easily, which is a big plus. The downside is that, when I still had things sorted by color, I would constantly see peices I wanted to use. That's gone now... Then again, I don't have 200.00 pieces. According to peeron, I currently have 27.295. Give or take a few hundred from bulk order I didn't add and pieces that got lost/broken over the years. And quite some of those pieces are in SW sets, which are on display...
  14. Yes, I just finished visiting my relatives. I have tracked the one known as Patrick down to a remote area of Kamino. When he has been captured, I will hunt for the one known as TT...
  15. Heh, isn't CC a member here, too? ;-)
  16. Pearl Jam - Black Ten seriously is on of the best albums ever. And without a doubt the best debut album ever *wub*
  17. What to say... don't use Paint. Paint is very hard to make good drawings in... And WHERE did you get that smiley? I want that one back, Apo :-P
  18. I certainly hope it will X-D
  19. Well, most thought goes into the 'main' model anyway. Then again, the alternate models for EF look better then the 'main' ones. But they obviously didn't use their time to make it sturdy, but to make the main model sturdy. I do agree that the combiner posted by Kimt doesn't look that great though. The other combiner as posted by Gerkenz looks a lot better.
  20. I might get this. But it'll be the only Batman set I'll get. It's not like I dislike the sets (the Batwing is awesome), but 75% of these sets are black. And black is a pretty useless color to me when building MOCs... However, they do have nice canopies, MFs and accesoires. But I'd rather order loads of lime/orange/yellow/oldgrey of BL then buy Batman sets... Just my 2 cents...
  21. Ah! Much better then having so much pinned topics you almost had to go to page 2 for the 'normal' topics. Nice job Yoda :-)
  22. I never owned any other construction toy, really. Every birthday and Sinterklaas (=dutch version of Christmas) I would get Lego... Then, TLC made their best move ever by buying the SW license. The AFOL community boomed, but to me, SW was there to ensure no Dark Age would be there for me. For years, I just bought SW Lego, but about a year ago, I started MOCing again. Nowadays, I build MOCs more then ever, and discovered BL and such. I now buy sets for parts instead of looks (which I did when I was a kid). Basically, it's a hobby. And an affordable one. One of my other hobbies, gaming, would cost me 50-100 euros a month. I've been gaming less and less lately, and building more and more ;-) And to close this little tale, I wish TLC 50 more years! And then 50 more, and more, and more... :-P
